[!] A missive was sent to the Luminous Palace in the Dominion of Corithiel, addressed to Therri’cill Varyian Theris.
✠ A SUMMONS TO THE THERRI'CILL ✠
Issued: Moonday 17th, Goldscorch, 1559
To the Therri’cill of Luminion,
Disturbing news has reached me—an explanation for the sudden disappearance of one of our nation’s beloved councilors. A mystery I had been pondering about for quite some time until it was all made clear. It seems that Ser Damien von Aval was requested, no, invited into your home by your daughter, Prinzess Klepsydra. They were to talk about his banishment from your lands, yet he never seemed to find his way home. Ser Damien, not being a fool, of course, took precautions in case of capture or worse, which is why I now write this letter to you.
Since you have not sent word, as seems to be your speciality, you are hereby summoned to Adelsburg to answer for Ser Damien’s disappearance and presumed capture, or worse. You are to bring Ser Damien with you, and he is to be returned alive and well. When you arrive in Adelsburg, you and two guards of your choosing will be allowed inside the city. Should you bring any more, we will take this as an act of war and respond in kind.
Should you divert, ignore or attempt to circumvent these demands in any way, the Hadrian Empire is also prepared to go to war and open up a second front in your conflict with the Anjyarri Sultanate. The Empire has attempted to remain neutral in the conflict and act as a mediator between the two parties, yet we cannot allow such blatant transgressions to stand. Let me assure you, if you do not respond within two Saint’s Days, the next time you see me will be at the head of an army, marching toward your precious Silver City.
Two days, Therri’cill.
Signed,
