[!] A messenger would be dispatched from Rosenberg. A small scroll of parchment, tied with a black and gold ribbon would be delivered to the Vater's office in Adelsburg. A second copy, which was addressed to the Abbess was sent to the Red Monastery. [!]

Your Holiness,

I am writing to you to enquire as to the health of Adalyn, formerly of the House Vianden. It has come to my attention she has been sent to live the rest of her days in the care of the Temple, as per law. Unfortunately it has come to light of her true parentage, in the form of a mysterious letter. Nevertheless, I am reminded Adalyn is but a child and so I write to you.
I wish to enquire as to the health and wellbeing of the child. I am under no illusion she will be well cared for under the canopy of the Temple, as all bastards of our realm are. I wish to know of her state, both mental and physical and any issues she may be facing. It is my earnest want she settle happily, as this is quite a change in her life. If it is agreeable with the Temple, I would like to see the child in the flesh. I have known her since she was a babe, and a familiar face may be pleasant to her.
As always, your health and happiness has been included in my vespers.
Rosatia guide you.

[!] A figure clad in religious robes of the Temple of Alder would deliver a sealed letter to Schloss Rosenberg. The letter would bear the holy seal of the Vater. However, the messenger would be spotted by numerous commoners, and rumors of a child being left at the Temple's doorstep, followed by messaged to Markgrafin Anna-Carina would spark public rumors and gossip. A copy would be send to the Red Abbey in Hertzland to the Sisters of Alda. [!]

To Krönprinzess und Markgrafin Anna-Carina Von Lichtenfelts of Hölzland,

Your message and your worries are grounded and respected. It pleases me to see the future Kaiserin of the realm worry much about the state of her realm and the people, including those of the clergy.
I write you back to answer your worries with the information that the child, which has indeed been identified as Adalyn of former House Vianden, has been found at the doorstep of the Holy Cathedral of Alder in Adelsburg. The child has been taken into my homestead and being taken care for by my serfs. She will be thoroughly taken care for until she will be handed to the Sisters of Alda. She is lucky to have the company of my young son Theodor, who can act as her playmate to ensure she'll find the joy and peace she deserves as a child during these times.
Your visit shall be welcomed in the earliest when possible. I shall prepare either coffee or tea, or wine.

As always, I have kept my promise and continue to pray for the health of your family and future child.
May the Benificent Oracle guide you on your pre-determined path, Krönprinzes.

Signed,

Vater Gottfried I "The Redeemed"

Temple of Alder, Adelsburg

[!] A small paper plaque would be included in the letter. It was the size of Carina's hand, with a recently made black and white sketch drawn on it by an artist. It was a scene of Adalyn in the arms of a female clergy caretaker who held out a spoon with food for her. It served as proof of the current state of ongoings to make her mind at ease. But also as a gift. [!]
