"The bold may brave a path. The wise may chart its way. But those of faith may walk it blindly."
- Saint Gunhild God-Feller
After nigh a year of construction work, the Temple of Bergwald has been completed. It stands as a monument to Saint Gunhild, a militant missionary who brought Alder's light to the Hintish pagans. With her own hands, she falled their "holy" tree to prove that their gods were long dead, and where this Temple now stands, built the first ever Alderist chapel in the Hinterlands from its planks.
Within the temple, one may find more than the grace and guidance of the Sentinels. The gardens provide a place for social gatherings or quiet introspection and meditation. Within the library, to which all are welcome, one may pursue beauty and knowledge through the written word. Most importantly, as the Temple's primary mission, the Almshouse provides meals and accomodations for those in need, completely free of charge. It also offers provisions for the road, free for anyone to take according to their need.
All are warmly invited to the opening sermon, regardless of station, faithful or not. Afterwards, we shall break bread in the almshouse, in a small and humble feast in honour of the namesake Saint.
