Kverit honored Elrikar,

your message has found its way to the high north into the hands of an old scholar boasting an never ending thirst for wisdom. I find myself delighted to learn about the imminent revival of science in the lands of the Glade and wish to partake in its pursuit. I write to you, primarily seeking to study those subjects foreign to me, but offer to share parts of my expertise as an astronomer, chemist and engineer in exchange as well. I'll observe your institution with great interest and am looking forward to meet likeminded individuals in scholarly discourse.

A letter would be sent by a messenger to the Collage at Luminion, its paper almost silk like, with ornate designs across its borders.

Esteemed Klepsydra Theris,

I trust this letter finds you in excellent health and prosperity. It is with the utmost respect and a sincere desire to contribute that I write to express my interest in serving as a professor at the revered College of Luminion.

As an artisan dedicated to the noble disciplines of metallurgy and gemcraft, I have devoted my life to mastering these venerable arts. Guided by the enduring traditions of my lineage and an unwavering pursuit of excellence, I have sought not only to refine my techniques but to imbue each creation with meaning and purpose. It is my belief that by imparting this knowledge to others, I can inspire and nurture the next generation of artisans, thereby upholding the legacy of skill and creativity that defines the College of Luminion.

I would be honored to instruct students in the sophisticated methodologies of forging and shaping metals, the delicate intricacies of gem setting and adornment, and the profound artistry that transforms raw elements into timeless works. Beyond the technical aspects, my aim would be to instill a sense of discipline, reverence for tradition, and a creative vision that elevates craft into true mastery.

If the College deems my application worthy of consideration, I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I might contribute to its academic and artistic excellence.

With the deepest respect and anticipation,

A reply was promptly sent to the sender of the previous letter. Simple and straight forward.
I am deeply moved by your vision for the Dominion and the belief you hold in the talent and potential of our people. Your invitation to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our land resonates strongly with me, and I would be honored to take part in this noble endeavor.

As a Office and Tri'cilus, I have long sought ways to elevate my work and bring value to our community. The opportunity to collaborate with others, share ideas, and create something extraordinary aligns perfectly with my aspirations.

I am particularly drawn to brewery, and I believe my skills and ideas could help enrich the Dominion with diverse culture and further its reputation as a hub of creativity and excellence.

Your offer of guidance and support is truly appreciated, and I look forward to discussing how best I might contribute to this grand vision. Please let me know how I can proceed, whether by letter or meeting you in person.

Thank you for this opportunity to be a part of something remarkable. I am eager to begin and will reach out shortly to finalize the details in person.

With gratitude and determination,

A letter, neatly wrapped in a fine, silk red cloth had arrived at the college. It contained a replied message with a cursive-like font.

To the administrative leaders of the College of Magic, I hope this letter finds you well in health and peace. I have expressed a major interest in the newfound creation of your establishment. I am very touched to know that there are those still wishing to preserve and maintain the knowledge of this land and its people. I was also very touched by this very polite invitation for others to help contribute to the retainment and expansion of these various disciplines that inhabit this community. I would be honored to be one of those contributors of this educational journey.

Admittedly, I have not had many opportunities to be a part of such things. But, despite this, I have done everything I can to help those around me in the best ways possible. I self-taught myself tailor man skills so I could provide others with the clothes they need to withstand the force and nature of the ravenous elements. I also attempted to become a swordsman and a mage, so I could become strong and protect those from the dangers that can be lurking around any corner. I had more success with being a swordsman, but I remained determined to one day achieve the knowledge of a mage and help teach that knowledge to new fledglings of students.

I come to you now in hopes of gaining this long-awaited knowledge. I am determined to one day make myself a teacher of the magics, but again, also a protector. I believe my desire to understand the ways of our lands magic would make me a fitting candidate as a student. And use these fundamentals to ensure our community has the support it needs to sustain a long line of history and tradition of magic's helpful uses in our lands.

I look forward to being a part of this grand institute of knowledge and history, and I again, am very touched by the birth and ideas of this institution. I hope one day I can meet you all in person, and we can go about how I can begin my journey at this College and assimilate into it's teachings in the best way possible.

Thanking for making this opportunity a reality. I wait for the day to begin my studies if my application is deemed deserving of this opportunistic position.

To the Esteemed Reyturim Rustcracker,

Your response has reached my hands and I am delighted to learn that the Denur have taken notice of the revival of the College of Magic in the Glade. Your experience as an astronomer, chemist and engineer is of great interest to us and the prospect of exchanging knowledge between our peoples is one I hold in the highest regard. The ambition of this institution is to bridge gaps between schools of thought and practices, creating an environment where the brightest minds can come together for mutual growth. With this in mind, I formally invite you to the Capital for a meeting where we may discuss this exchange and delve into how we can support one another's pursuits. Your fields of expertise, particularly in the realms of science and engineering may find fertile ground within the College. If this poses any inconvenience for you, I can arrange to travel there for your convenience. Just let me know in advance so I can plan the route accordingly, if needed.

A black owl can be seen flying over the streets of Luminion, its form sleek and elegant. As it descends from the sky, it perches on a railing by the entrance to the royal palace, and drops off a letter a few feet from the front door.
“To her majesty Sy’dra Theris,

I would like to congratulate you on taking a forward stride in education by reopening the College of Magic. I do hope this letter finds you in good health, as I myself have caught a horrible fever. However, illness is not what I intend to be the topic of this letter. Instead, I would like to teach world history at the College.

Please accept this as my formal request, so as to educate our people about the world and what has shaped it. The greatest threat that history faces is erasement and censorship. These factors pervert our understanding of the past, and I intend to help preserve it in its true form by teaching it to the citizens of this great nation. Whether it be Hadrian wars or Denur holds, I wish to inform our people of the history of the world, and let them know why our decisions have an impact on our future, and to show them that repeating history only leads to bloodshed, violence, and fatal mistakes.
I trust that the Mother may guide you towards the right decision, whatever that may be.

-Vyranxis Aranachra”
