Honor Betrayed, Justice Demanded

Citizens of Lünburg and the Empire,

It is with both a heavy heart and an iron resolve that I address you today. I have been attacked in my own hall by four cowardly assailants, one of whom I suspect to be none other than Meat. She entered my hall while I was engaged in conversation with Erzbishop Gottfried, only to leave and return moments later with three masked accomplices, seeking to do me harm.

Let it be known that their attempts were futile. The wretches who dared to strike at me were not strong enough to inflict any serious injury. Their treacherous blades barely left a scratch upon me. However, this act of betrayal will not go unanswered. I swear to you, the loyal people of Lünburg and the Empire, that these traitors will be detained and executed for their heinous crime against the Markgraff, the Erzbishop and the Empire.

I took Meat into my home, provided for her, and offered her protection. And how does she repay my kindness? With dishonor and treachery. She attacked me without honor, within the very walls that sheltered her.

Rest assured, justice will be served. I will not rest until these traitors face the consequences of their actions. Lünburg and the Empire will remain strong and united against such treachery.

She skims the notice, taking in each word carefully. She giggles slightly as a wide grin spreads across her face.
"Awww did I hurt the big mans pride?" She kisses the notice, and drops it on the floor, skipping back home.

"Don't get comfy now! I will be seeing you real soon, Konrad."

As Lynne wandered the Hadrian lands, peeking at missive after missive, a freshly printed one caught her eye. Praying it had something to do with a job, she read it with a keen eye before sighing. "What- did he have something to do with this?" Was all she muttered. After shaking off the thought for the time being, she went about her day.

Meanwhile, Mura was meandering about near the tavern, a piece of the printed paper grabbing her attention. "Hm. Of course she'd get herself into something like this..." She said, shaking her head. She went back inside to polish glasses and sweep.

Atticus looked over the missive, reading it closely before folding it up and taking it with him

"Meat.. I had a feeling something was not adding up with how often I see her out of Mitrona. No exceptions, no sympathy.."

It did not need to be said in the moment, but all Atticus could think of was the potential lead to Daemon.

Meridy's eyes widened as they read through the announcement. Their head spun. Meat had done what? Wait, did this mean she was out of Lunburg? Would she really do something like this? What had she even done in the first place? Where was she now? They felt like they had always been one step behind since this whole thing started, the truth, and their friend, just out of reach. They took a copy of the notice and folded it up in their journal. Perhaps the Markgraff would have some answers. They'd have to be careful though, maybe get some friends to join them, or at least tell someone where they were.

Brun sees the messages go up with the seal of the city he now belongs to. He can't read the message. He'd heard there had been an incident while he'd been working on getting the Lunburg farms back up, but he'd have to see Herr Konrad for more details when he could.

After a long day of reading, Ike finally stepped out of the library. He glanced at the notice board and out of pure, morbid curiosity reads the paper. "Does this- Does this have a bounty?" He muttered. Upon seeing that it didn't, he clicked his tongue in disappointment and walked away..
Womp womp.

Briefly stopped walking to read the notice pertaining to the wild night, giggling under her breath upon doing so
"
You've gotta give it to the Attians, their egos are massive."
She continued on her way, smiling as she shook her head
"Barely a scratch he says."
She reminisced about bringing him down with her own spear
