Dear esteemed Vater Gottfried,
I write to you regarding a sensitive matter. As you may already be aware, my husband, the Prinz Wilhelm von Lichtenfelts, has been missing for over a year. It came to my attention shortly before the stillborn birth of our child that he had run off to court the elven princess, abandoning me and betraying our sacred vows. With his disappearance, I come to you requesting an annulment of our marriage. I am aware that it was not you who officiated our marriage, though I plead to you as Vater to grant me this request. I wish to move forward with my life without this broken bond hanging over me. It costs me great pain each day to look down at my finger and be reminded of his betrayal, of his disappearance from me in my time of need, and in my grief with the death of our son.

To Miss Von Aval,
After careful review and deliberation, with the evidence brought forward to the Clerical Hierarchy, the Temple of Alder has concluded its investigation into your petition. The evidence presented has confirmed that Prinz Wilhelm Von Lichtenfelts has committed an act of abandonment and has made (public) attempts to seduce the Elven Pricecili Klepsydra, violating the sanctity of your union under the eyes of Alda. This is added to an exstensive list of behaviour and acts that go against the Tenets and faith, promptly amplifying the decision made on this parchment presented to you.
In light of these grievous transgressions, and in accordance with the Tenets and the divine guidance of the Sentinels, I, Vater Gottfried I, "The Redeemed," hereby grant your request for divorce on the 1st of Moonday, Godsnight, 1558. The marriage between you and Prinz Wilhelm Von Lichtenfelts is officially annulled. Your now ex-partner, Prinz Wilhelm, shall, if re-emerging to the public eye and Imperial court, be punished accordingly by the religious laws for his transgressions and various acts.
As part of this decree, you shall no longer bear the name von Lichtenfelts. You are free to reclaim your previous name, should you wish. Your associated rights and responsibilities shall return to the state of commoner. You yourself are granted the option to request a medical procedure to have the wedding ring removed.
The Temple of Alder trusts that this resolution will provide clarity and closure, allowing you to move forward with dignity and faith.
