The day of the Peasants.
A festival that commemorates the common folk for their hard work. Without the peasantry tending to the fields and animals, allowing food to be distributed across the whole of Hadriana. Without the peasantry mining in the quarries and mines, allowing our smithies to create intricate tools and armour for our men-at-arms. Without the peasantry toiling hard in what they pursue every day, our society would not function! We rely on you, on your work. And for that you deserve to be praised.
The festival is to be hosted once every three weeks, allowing nobility and commoners to have fun and entertain themselves with multiple activities. The boundaries set upon one by society due to their birth are forgotten for short
while.

Commonly hosted by members of the Tzyrnowski family, or the steward of Norbüren. The festival will have a wide variety of activities which one can partake in. Depending on the amount of people attending there might be more or less activities, the order in which the activities will be played might also be changed to keep the festival from becoming dull and repetitive.

Activites which one could expect to be hosted during the festival:

- Maypole dancing,
A tall wooden pole will be erected in the towncenter of Norbüren, it is to be decorated with flowers and ribbons. Typically participants are meant to hold the ribbons and slowly dance around the pole whilst festivious music is being played. Eventually the pole will be wrapped up in the ribbons to it's roots causing it to be brightly coloured.

- Mock sword fights,
Wooden swords are giving to participants, unlike the knights of Hadriana they will however not face each other in a heroic duel. The swordfights are meant to be fun and unharmful to it's participants. Children often imagine themselves as knights, facing eachother in battle. Whilst adults merely do it for laughter, seeing whom is stronger or more agile.

- The Hog races,
Norbüren hosts a large stock of animals, amongst them are pigs. Many would be mistaken to assume that pigs are fat and lazy. On the contrary pigs are known to be able to run quite a distance in a short time. It has caused commoners to mount them, perhaps mocking the knights on their warhorses. Or maybe to have some fun riding a furious hog trying not to be thrown off.

- Treasure hunts,
It is rumored that the Herzog holds fasts treasure beneath his hold of Mariuszhalle, under the influence of a few alcoholic beverages he scattered the relics throughout Norbüren. Perhaps they are of notable worth, or perhaps it is a rumour indeed.

- A Farmer's chore,
Norbüren is surrounded by large fields full of different crops. Mainly wheat is produced giving Norbüren the moniker of 'breadbasket'. Unfortunately not all of the grain is of desired quality, the haybales deemed so are typically left on the fields for the festival. People are sent out to gather the haybales and stack them high in a piramide form, essentially creating a large bonfire. Later in the day it will be set on fire, creating a large bonfire where townsfolk will celebrate.

- Sheep herding competition,
A large fenced area near the town is filled with sheep, on the outskirts of it are small pens wherein the sheep are supposed to be housed. People are given a wooden stick and are supposed to guide the sheep to their pens. Beware however, rams are walking amongst the sheep. Needless to say they do not like their behinds being hit with sticks and will most definitely act aggressively upon being 'guided' to their pens.

Nearing the end of the festival the tavern of Norbüren will be fully opened to the public. It's amenities free of charge to be used to express the gratitude house Tzyrnowski has for her subjects. From food and drinks, to rooms wherein one may rest after such a long day full of activities.

For those finding themselves full of renewed energy after a hearty meal and a few drinks, they may participate in even more activities.
- Drinking contest,
The denizens of Norbüren are known to enjoy a drink. The cheaply made 'Whaler's Wodka' and 'Herzog-Janczyk' surely aiding in it. The aim is quite simple, consuming as much alcoholic beverages as possible. The last one able to walk a straight line from one end of the tavern to the other wins.

- Competition of strength,
It may vary from arm-wrestling, to fighting with bare knuckles, or a game of tug of war. People often tend to boast about their strength and will do so when they have had a few drinks to many.
Do note that if become aggressive you will be forcefully evicted for ruining the festivious ambience.

- Storytelling and minstrelsy
Bards, storytellers or minstrels are invited to take stage in the tavern. Trying to entertain the crowd with tales of heroism, folklore, or romance. The best is rewarded with cries for more and notoriety amongst the masses.

The reoccurring nature of the festival intends to attract more common folk to Norbüren, whilst praising the peasantry for their hard work. A town adorned in colourful ribbons and market stalls where vendors may sell their wares for fair prices, whilst multiple activities are hosted to create a fun atmosphere for all.
