IN LIGHT OF RECENT TENSION

As I feel the light of my mortal life slowly fade with the years, and prepare myself to step into Alder's halls. I wish to invoke my will one last time to ensure for generations to come that the Empire is preserved and safe. Order has been challenged by Chaos once more as Reichsmarshall Richard of House Vianden has been threatened and attacked by rival Houses on the road. However, in his fulfilling role as the enforcer of Imperial Law and order, he is to speak with the Kaiser's voice and ace as his sword. And thus, the threats made against Lord Vianden are a threat made against the Empire as a whole.
It is therefore that the Imperial Crown issues emergency powers to the Reichsmarshall to ensure peace is restored and the threat against the crown is vanquished if it dares to show itself. The emergency powers granted at this stage are as follows and limited to:

- To take any limb that was raised in aggression against the crown.
- To cut any tongue that speaks of violence and rebellion against the crown and its agents.
- To take the eyes of witnesses that stood by and not report any wrongdoing.
The emergency powers are set to be in place for the remainder of the year; if these powers are not deemed sufficient, they can and will be expanded to contain the threat. May Alder's teachings light everyone's paths.
