Royal Decree Regarding Diplomats
Issued: Moonday the 25th of Greenfall, 1531
By decree of his Luminous majesty, Therri'cill Aldir'tor Zaithrall, a small handful of changes are to be made to the diplomatic office of the Enlightened Kingdom.
Firstly, In order to streamline the lines of contact and ensure that the court is aware of the dealings of the diplomatic office, all those who wish to act as the mouthpiece of the Enlightened Kingdom as diplomats are to register with the royal court and seek the approval of the Therri'cill, after which they will be assigned a nation-state for which they will act as the representative of the Enlightened Kingdom.
Secondly, any diplomatic missions undertaken by these diplomats are to be recorded and reported back to the royal palace in written and spoken form to ensure the Luminous court can adjust its stance on certain diplomatic topics more accurately.
Any unsanctioned diplomatic missions carried out by unofficial diplomats are forbidden as they do not act in the name of the Enlightened Kingdom.
Anyone who wishes to apply for the position of the diplomat of one of the following states can request an appointment with the Therri'cill to discuss ascension to the post.
