There was this wealthy family, they wanted to go to a play/opera but they couldn’t bring their newborn child as it would cry during the whole thing causing a scene. Their solution was to hire a babysitter for the night and she seemed like a lovely woman who was recommended so they left her alone with the baby in the house
They loved the play/opera and went home all happy and entertained but when they got there the babysitters car was gone….They hurried inside with fear filling them and as they go in they call for the baby and the sitter no response but there is this putrid smell that smelt like a barn animal was dying in the house and then set on fire.
They search the house till they arrive in the back living room and then they all fell silent as they spotted the newborn baby burnt and dead in the fireplace left there by the sitter. The house has been visited since and anyone who goes in there feels a cold unforgiving presence.Teenagers have tried to stay the night to prove themselves but no one has made it through the night as they hear the wailing of a newborn and some have stated that the baby was floating above the bed they were sleeping in.(This is an actual story that happened around where I live and even I felt like I was being watched when I was all alone)
