Dwarvern masses flee Dar-ach Denur during the night of a Thousand ashes

-~✵~-
In notice to all the folk, tall and wide, of Eden - The status of the Denur people and the resurgence of a new order is declared.

The Great Horrors
The famine that has stricken our people for many, many, seasons has led to the decline of our once impenetrable civilization. Our Iron Orhim began to crack as the land beneath us was no doubt cursed by wicked forces abroad. Those who were lost to starvation avoided the bleak realities soon known to those of us who persisted. The curse began to wrap its twisted fingers around the throat of our race. It is now, after thirty-five years of hiding such truths, that we announce publicly that the Denur people have long been rendered completely sterile. The fading thought of our children, whom we may never see, has left us bitter and broken in unimaginable ways.

The fragile state of our people was shattered as our home came under the siege of the most terrible of beasts which appeared from within our halls. The greatest of the horrors sought to wipe us from existence, and in the terrible night of a thousand ashes repelled us from our beloved fortress Dar-ach Denur. The beast's plot would have destroyed us if not for the valiant and infinitely honorable sacrifice of our most gracious majesty, High King Runefist. His Majesty engaged the creature at the gate, keeping it within our fortress as our dwindled masses scattered into the forest with whatever we could carry. The wretched thing was luckily satisfied with occupying the now empty halls of our home and did not chase after our lowly bands. His Majesty's form remains petrified like stone at the gate and we hope shall be a warning to all. Do not traverse to Dar-ach Denur nor our precious Dzrathas Mountains for they have been conquered by the great horrors of the curse.

Those who survived the night have since gathered and begun the complete exodus from our ancestral homeland. After many moons and further hardship that come with such an evacuation, we have taken up permanent settlement in the abandoned ruins of the halfling village Prezza L'Aquila. Which we have renamed to Uldi'nur the last bastion of the Denur. It is here where the last of the great clans declare the new order of the Denur.

The Fallen Denur Triumvirate
Without an apparent heir to the late High King's throne the Chieftains of the last three Great Clans. have conglomerated to form the joint Regency and governance council of the remnants of the Denur. This government and new state exists merely as a treaty and formal agreement between the great clans to prevent infighting as each respective clan chieftain claims the empty throne. We implore the recognition of this triumvirate as the legitimate successor state to the now defunct Iron Orhim within the province once controlled by Prezza L'aquila . The internal authority of the new state has been split into three regions under the command of each of the clans who may act independently in the governance of their regions and may impose whatever law they deem fit. External law and treaty are therefore subject to the Fallen Triumvirate council's unanimous discretion, along with the sole authority to recognize the new ruler of the Denur should an heir become apparent. The last Great Clans and their respective chieftains who shall henceforth lead the new order are;

Clan Wyrmthane - Honorable Chieftain Ossolin Wyrmthane
Clan Bonemaim - Honorable Chieftain Joturn Bonemaim
Clan Vulcan - Honorable Chieftain Tiber Vulcan

The Triumvirate declares firstly that all whom hold knowledge of those who are responsible for the curse which brought about the Great horror should seek to render such information to the Council. The Triumvirate also demands that any Denur artifacts and treasures held in foreign lands or private collections be rendered unto the new state. Lastly, the Triumvirate beseeches the nations and realms of Eden to respect its borders and authority within as it focuses on the ongoing internal struggle of establishment.
