NATIONAL NEWS

Continuing the steps Aerièlle took for us,

As you all know the Azari'cill, are on an ever-escalating pursuit of higher knowledge. Yet, there is no one else but them, that have to take the blame for their lack of focus on this ever-escalating pursuit in recent years. That is, dear readers, why the time for change is now. For too long have they not been on their dearest quest, for too long have they lived in ease, for too long have they not faced the challenges the Mother throws at them, not for their harm, but to strengthen them for their future. Society must change now! And it will, for this, they will travel back to the time of the greatest alive, the time when their very society was born. It was after their Mother's leave, that the first generations of their kind gathered the ancient tomes and scrolls written during the Age of Enlightenment and reformed them into what is now known as the Tetheriani, or Tetheris’ Ladder of Enlightenment. It was their Tetheris I Elladris that wrote the final draft and gave it to the people so they would not stray from the Mother’s path. Each rung of the ladder is a stage of mastery over the body and mind and graduating from one to another requires the passing of a strenuous mental test. Many fail to climb to the higher rungs on the ladder and some may even lose their sanity as they are desperately trying to make their way to the top. However, the rewards are great and those who climbed to the higher rungs became what is now known as the exalted.

Many of you might be confused, lost, or worried even. But fear not, the Azari'cill were made to withstand these tests, they were made to head to the Mother's words. And it is with her words that they will face the ladder, but not only face it, climb it even. Some might not make it to the top, but all of them will feel redemption in trying, in giving everything for their ever-escalating pursuit of higher knowledge.

Any additional information will be put forth in the next scheduled Citizen Council. For any reader that can't hold their horses and are eager to learn, you are always able to find information about the Theriani within the bookshelves of the Luminion Library.

Expansion North

With the Enlightened Kingdom's ever-growing population, the Government has established that their residential capacity within and around the capital is growing rather slim. It is therefore that official propositions for expansion to the north have been explored and confirmed. They are not speaking about an expansion of the city itself. But rather a rural village at the location where the once vibrant Halfling town of Aestarius filled the forest. This expansion coincides with Azari'cill reclaiming their relics of the Age Of Fallen Spires. The old Aestari temple ruins.

Missing Citizen

A message from the citizen's servants, the Lunar Guard.
It has come to the attention of the Therri'lunar that Luminion's former Librarian Aldail Laemmouth Thrammour has been missing for an extended period of time. If anyone has any insight into his situation, knows his whereabouts, or has any other clues regarding his disappearance, please inform one of our guards. If one can not be found within the city walls, please leave a letter in the mailbox at the Lunar Keep.

Any clue that could lead us to solve this mystery will be lavishly awarded.

Sincerely,
The Lunar Guard

INTERNATIONAL NEWS

New leader, same story.

The recent passing of Emperor Matthias Joseph Withmond has not yet come with an improvement in leadership. The Enlightened Kingdom is still awaiting the newly appointed Emperor to stand true to his word regarding the ultimatum they set. While two of the three ultimatums were met by Emperor Withmond. One ultimatum remains, that ultimatum was for Arnoud van Leuveren to be handed over to stand trial for his actions. To this day, his arrest and delivery to the gates of the Blessed city have not occured.

Is the new Emperor providing him shelter, or is the Sultan giving him a hard time? Is his position as weak as Matthias' or is he trying to be a clever man? One could speculate all they want, but at the end of the day, the answers were written in stone a long time ago.

To this time nothing concrete has happened, the Enlightened Kingdom hopes it receives Arnoud van Leuveren as soon as possible, for they cannot wait to put him on trial.
