The Reorganization of Medical Work in the Empire

[!] A paper is placed upon the boards across Hadriana [!]

This is a call to all those willing and able. Long have our clinics been unstaffed leading to delayed response to medical emergencies. As a Sister of Alda and as the Imperial Herbalist, I feel it is my duty to reach out to gain an idea of our numbers and to begin training the next generation of medics. While staffing the clinics is a priority to me, there is also room within the military to work as a medic. With the sudden attacks from Orcs and the undead armies still in existence rapid response on the front lines is paramount. The duties and expectations as a medic will be listed below.

Prerequisites of all medics
Must be at least 16 years of age, any younger may work as an aid in a clinic, aids cannot work within the armed forces
Show compassion for the wounded, Hadrian or not
Vow to never willingly cause harm in your practice unless in defense
Maintain records of those you treat, and have those records ready so that your methods can be learned from by other medics

As a physician working in a clinic, duties and expectations will be as follows.
Tending to minor and major wounds as you are called to them. Work both within your clinic and without in the surrounding areas
Treat illnesses and report any spreading illness to ensure fast response
Work with other medics to contain and treat national illnesses

As a trauma physician working on the front lines, duties and expectations will be as follows
Tending to minor and major wounds on the battlefield when it is safe
Protecting and extracting the wounded from harms way
In and out of wartime work within the barracks to maintain the health of the army
Outside of wartime efforts report to your local clinic when called for emergencies

Lastly, as a final call, research into herbs is my personal priority. Any and all who wish to help may report to me in Adelsburg. The goal of my herbal research is to find a way to create potions that can alleviate pain and mend wounds without magic. Granting well needed aid to our people, and to foreign nations to benefit all of man and mer.

If you are a medic within Hadriana and wish to become a medic or are already a medic, I implore you to respond in letter to myself, and to notify the appropriate leaders to begin work within the clinics or within the army's ranks. Once I have responses lessons will begin in the Red Abbey Monastery and notices will be placed on boards with times and dates.

A Khadan woman stumbles upon the notice while exploring Hadriana's lands. Reading it piques her interest.

"Mhm. It is a fruitful endeavour, I must say. Perhaps introductions should be made"

*Amari would look at the notice and pin a response*

"If you agree to give me an indefinite magic permit, that does not expire, I will volunteer at your clinics to magically heal the wounded, if I am free. I do understand this sounds non-committal and you'd be right to assume that. I do not pledge a contract for a time frame nor will I follow your armies into battle. What I am willing is if i pass a clinic and there is a sick person in there, i will heal them. I just don't want the threat of arrest for using biomancy to do so. Please let me know if these terms are acceptable.

- Amari Delarus."
