Player Announcement The Thorn that Broke the Stone

In the depths of the forest of Myln Arbor, where the roots speak and the earth remembers, the Arch-Geomancer made his final stand.

A demon came cloaked in beauty and blood, twisting roses bloomed where her shadow fell. A creature of petals and poison, illusion and hunger. Many had fallen to her charms, and many more to her thorns. But Yelran Roseshade was no stranger to the void, no stranger to war. He had faced horrors that unmade lesser spirits. This was not his first battle. It would be his last.

Stone clashed with vine in the wilderness that day. From the earth rose his guardian. A mighty golem of raw geomancy, summoned by the ancient energy of Kor. In answer, the demon birthed her own beast, a wyrm of roses and bramble, its form serpentine.

As the colossals tore into one another, the forest trembled.

Amid the chaos, Yelran weaved arcane might through the air, spells laced with precision and power. But the demon was elusive. Every strike that found her only scattered her form into drifting petals, illusions dancing on the wind. His fury cracked the sky, her laughter answered from the shadows.

And then, misstep. Fate turned. She struck.

Wounded and faltering, the Khari'cerr fell to one knee. Her fangs found his throat in the silence between heartbeats. But even in stillness, the earth remembers its king.

With the last of his breath, Yelran called upon the land. The ground heaved. Magma surged from the wounded world like blood from a pierced heart. The rose wyrm burned. The demon screamed, wounded, yet not slain.

She fled.

And Yelran... faded.

The Spirits of Kor came to him then, silent and unseen, and carried their child away, to the Amber Tree, where roots cradle the brave and the fallen. There, beneath golden leaves, Yelran Roseshade, Khari’cerr of the Wood Elves, Arch-Geomancer, warrior, and warden... found peace.

May the forest remember. May the roots carry his name.
