[ ₍ᐢ. .ᐢ₎ !! ] Silently, without a soul noticing, notices began to spread across Eden's, creeping into every corner.
『 "Let it be known to every soul in Eden; every man, woman, and child that feared a nightmare that plagued our lands, is over!"… Just kidding! 』
You were all so close, weren't you? So, so close… But, ah, fate has a funny way of pulling strings when you least expect it. In the end, I’ve decided– Only my hands will choose the fate of them all, for this pitiful excuse of a Sultan was… weak.
Hunting and chasing shadows, pointing fingers at anything that moved. But all of you were so blinded, so desperate for a victory, that you never saw the real target slip through your grasp.
I was the one with the knife at the Sultan’s throat while your eyes were fixed elsewhere in someone who might’ve been useful.
The stray one that tried to protect that poor excuse of a leader with only an arm will rot with its organs pierced by a blade and the corruption growing within him will fester.
It was almost too easy.
All so caught up in pride, so convinced of righteousness, that all failed to see the main problem.
You see, death isn’t the end. It’s something far greater, something that cannot be outrun. The realm of death welcomes us all! You should know by now– Everything dies.
The sweetest fate for us all, isn’t it? When it’s your turn, oh, you’ll understand what I’ve known all along.
But for now, enjoy the light while you can– For this is my first act.
