[ ! ] In the quiet night, while everyone was asleep, notices began to appear in all noticeboards across Eden– Whoever wrote this knows what they're doing, the writing is unidentifiable and carries a strong, metallic scent that makes any attempt to trace its origin futile. Worried peasants speak about voidal magics at play. [ ! ]

To all it may concern.

It is quite a shame that every single opponent of the Empire has ended up disappearing so suddenly.
It is quite the coincidence that no necromantic attacks have occurred in Hadrian lands, except for the once free-willed Volgrad, neither by Bonelord nor by necromancy mages.
It is quite the coincidence that the supposed traitors over there were brutally crushed by the Bone Lord's unholy army. Who knows how many souls were lost...

Unlike all the cowards who decided to lower their heads and return to the land they once rebelled against, I will speak out. These spineless wretches, too afraid to stand for their beliefs, have chosen submission over honor.

But enough about them. Let us return to the true purpose of this message.

Your desperation reeks. The first mistake you committed was aligning with a fraud such as
Eros, the Catamora demon, which ironically under whom Fenrir serves. And to our surprise, you all can guess what? It’s the Voidal mage that got spared by the Empire and her hands.
By merely banishing him, they granted him more days to live, a mistake everyone will regret. Eros is an incubus it preys on the desperate, tempting them with false promises. Fenrir worships this disgusting creature, believing it to be the answer to all his woes, so it wouldn't be a surprise if someone as scared as you decided to speak and make a deal with it.

There will be no mercy for you. As a hunter myself, I will stop at nothing to eliminate anything I consider worth dying. If it means killing you to rid this world of the danger you pose, so be it. I will hunt you down and ensure that you suffer.
And if you are what I believe you are, Kaiserin, I will expose your deepest fears and use them to dismantle the very foundation of your existence. War may be over but you are not safe from the consequences of your actions and so, I shall be the executioner.

You are scared of something,
Veredra, and I will find out.

"With what I appreciate about this, goes only as far as those conformist cowards being called out.

This is shady as fuck, but I put respect on this missive.. And ultimately, none of you should blow this off as conspiracy."

[!] The Elfman looked to the peasants that were gathered at the notice board while he spoke, his natural eye color filling with a brief radiance only to then flare and spook the closest person. Atticus making sure there were spare missives before taking this one for himself..

Fenrir blinked at the notice. . "HOW MANY OTHER FUCKING PEOPLE DO I NEED TO TELL SHE TOOK MY EYE AND FUCKING BLINDED ME. LEAVING ME IN THE FROST TO DIE??" At this point the fox was just desperate with his words.

A pale man with jet-black hair that fell to the middle of his back wore a solemn, stoic expression upon his face as he makes his way towards the gates of Veronia. His gaze is steady, revealing a mix of respect and sorrow as he approaches the duchy. He pauses momentarily at the gate, taking a deep breath to calm himself before continuing on his path to pay his respects to the late Viscountess Ashlyn. Silently, he rummaged through the bag that hung on his side before pulling out a bottle of mead. β€œI’m sorry this happened to you..” He muttered quietly as he opened the bottle of mead, the man took a small sip from the bottle before closing it soon after and crouching down to set it next to the memorial.

β€œSleep well, Ash.” The man whispered, standing straight up and walking down the path toward the city.
His worn boots kicked up small clouds of dust as he navigated the maze of stalls and buildings. Almost oblivious to the notice board by the marketplace, he paused abruptly. A stray piece of parchment, caught by the wind, danced gracefully before settling against the rough wooden surface of the board. Intrigued, he changed his course, stepping closer to the board. With a weathered hand, he brushed aside the layers of notices and announcements until his fingers closed around the parchment that had beckoned him. Narrowing his eyes, his gaze traced every letter and sentence that was written on the parchment. β€œHmm..” The man grumbled, a smirk slowly growing on his lips as he continued to read. β€œI wish I could help them with this somehow..” He uttered to himself quietly. Once he was done reading he glanced around and tore the notice down, tucking it into his bag. Without another word he delved deeper into the city, vanishing into the crowd.

Izara gets her hand on this missive and sighs gently, two nations going through the mud recently was enough for her. She parts her lips to say, β€œI mean. She’s a vari. She’ll die in… forty years.” Izara said bluntly.

Eventually, the notice would reach the Imperial Palace where Diederick got his hands on it. Upon reading it he would raise a brow and cast the notice into the flames of his fireplace. Rising from his seat as he states "My family is beset by nameless threats again it seems. Page after page of notices delivered demanding our heads. It has been me before, and now my wife. If these bastards truly believe they stand a chance against the Imperial Might of the Empire, they are mistaken. I shall hunt them down to the last one and mount them on the spikes outside Adelsburg next to the many that came before this one... Our House has known lows, yet we have never known defeat, and that will certainly not change now.."
