Player Announcement A clear Response to A fairy Tale

As in recent time's you maybe known my name is Eldrion Aedaere, and till this day it seems I am only being accused voidal allegiance's? Based on words of Ser Zladimir de Tiri, the man who brought the Empire into a civil war, is this really how we act these days? Based off of words?

Now instead of simply asking me or sending letters, for years she hasn't talked to me or come forwards with no evidence of such '' voidal allegiance's " while I have been battling the forces around Eden is this how you treat your commander? Some pawn who you can simply put in the dirt whiste he is helping others with problems? For example: the wasps in the Myln Arbor forest and of course the fire demon near Adelsburg where Vedra von Lichtenfelts saved my life from being taken.

You speak of justice, loyalty, and enlightenment yet pardon a 'cill at your wedding with Fynenar II, a 'cill who used to rule the northern part of Aerial whilst sleeping with a azari'lunn. Is that what you call justice? I am currently 224 common years of age and I will not simply be put under a blade whilst this is all happening under YOUR ruleI

Eldrion Aedaere Will Official step down from all the position as it seems the internal conflicts are all too much for the young queen.

Melronna Glavien va Chasianna walked towards the notice board, seeing the announcements and the response to such a thing. She sighed in grief as she turned to look at the empty streets of Luminion.

"Oh how Luminion appears to be broken, from the shards of glass within it's walls, and from the people who live within them. They say horrible things about the people, and their queen who rules amongst them. Perhaps there can be change, where this place can be called a 'safe place'. But as the roaring fires spread, and the winds do not go down the mountains towards the tree line... this appears like fantasy."

She paused, soon going into her office.

"Perhaps these fires can be cleansed, and the winds can freely move across Eden without disruption, but everything takes time... till death due us part, unless this world burns like Lillith has been corrupted."

*This missive would be put under wherever these were posted?*

It is with a sense of bemused astonishment that I received your impassioned missive. Your protestations are dim-witted, and your attempt to cast yourself as a martyr of justice is, quite frankly, laughable. Let us dissect your lamentations, shall we?

Firstly, your appeal to innocence on the grounds of hearsay would be touching if it weren’t so transparently self-serving. You were more than willing to follow the Therri'cill in hunting and falsely accusing me of voidal activities. Yet now, when the accusations are directed at you, it’s suddenly all baseless words? Accusations of voidal allegiance are not so easily dispelled by mere indignation. Words, as you should well know, are powerful—especially when they come from those who have borne witness to your actions.

You bemoan the lack of direct confrontation or correspondence regarding these allegations. Pray tell, where was your transparency during your supposed crusades against the forces of darkness? Did you think your gallivanting through Eden’s forests and battling fire demons absolved you of scrutiny? Your self-proclaimed heroics, including the dubious tale of Vedra von Lichtenfelts saving your life, read more like the ramblings of a bard seeking to elevate a ludicrous narrative than the sober account of a commander.

And then there is your indignant railing against the Queen’s pardoning of a 'cill at her wedding. A curious point to raise, indeed. Is it justice you seek, or merely a deflection from your shortcomings? The northern parts of Aerial have seen rulers come and go, each with their own shadows. To single out this particular incident while ignoring your own transgressions smacks of hypocrisy.

You mention your venerable age as if it lends weight to your words. Yet, it seems all those years have taught you nothing of accountability or humility. Stepping down from your positions, you say, is a noble act in the face of internal conflict. How convenient. One might suspect that you see the writing on the wall and have chosen to leap before being pushed.

Your lament about the young queen’s ability to handle internal conflicts is particularly amusing. It is not her youth that is the issue but the festering rot of deceit and betrayal within the ranks—rot that you, Eldrion, have done little to stem.

In closing, let me assure you that your departure will not be mourned. The wheels of justice turn mercilessly, and our society will endure, with or without your incompetence. Remember, Eldrion, those who live by deceit often find their end in disgrace. Tread carefully, for my patience with treachery has its limits.

Vale'tar,

Thallan-Furcas Illysar

Veredra sat in the quarters she now called home, a copy of Eldrion's letter spread before her on the small table. As she read his words, her thoughts drifted back to the battle in Helios' field. She could almost hear the clash of steel and feel the rush of adrenaline. Eldrion’s life, among others, had hung in the balance that day, and she had been there, fighting to ensure everyone's survival.

A sigh escaped her lips, mingling with the flicker of the candlelight. Accusations based on mere words, without evidence, had become all too familiar.

"How cruel it ist.." the woman murmured to herself, "..to see einother suffer under ze weight of false accusations. To fight tirelessly for justice, only to be betrayed by those who should stand by dein side."

She traced the edges of the parchment.

"Ze irony.." she continued, her voice barely above a whisper. "He ist accused of voidal allegiance by ze very woman who did nothing when Ich presented her all evidence o' her Lord Regent's guilt. How easily they forget for convenience's sake."

"Ich pray to Alder.." she said softly, "..zat nein more souls have to endure zat. Und Ich pray to Elric for both to see ein day when justice reign supreme."

With that, Veredra set the letter aside.

A certain 'cill that the notice happened to mention walked past yet halted, intrigued by its contents. His eyes scanned over each line, but the man couldn't help but stifle a snort or two. Given his knowledge of several contexts connected to the situation, this all felt just awfully ironic to him. "Well, point taken. How could I be mad at a person stating a fact about my impurities?"

He shrugged his shoulders with a small smile, letting out an air of breath while a hand rested on his hip.

"Even then, I have changed these thirty-or-so years. Using me as a scapegoat is a bit much." He lingered on the thought before he tilted his head, scratching at the side of his temple. "Alas, I suppose I can expect a voidal to be grasping at straws to prove their innocence... I would do the same if push came to shove."

Elduin took a copy from the noticeboard, folding it neatly as he continued his journey back home. As he twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open, he called out to the inhabitants with a smile in his voice.

"Crescendo! Vangelis! Look! They talk about me in this poster!"
