Hail to the Grand Republic of Raevendrecht!​

Through this missive I wish to invite the Stadtholder to the Imperial capital, Adelsburg, to formally establish diplomatic relations. After a long march from the border province of Lünburg did we manage to successfully march on Adelsburg and retake the Hadrian Empire for the rightful rulers. We, that being the Imperial Family, have not forgotten the hospitality given to us during our exile and wish to formally speak our thanks on the brink of this new era.

If you were to accept our most generous invitation, all expenses will be paid for from the Imperial Treasury and a banquet is to be held to honor those who stood beside the von Lichtenfelts during the great struggle. Your company is to be welcomed as honored guests and shall be granted a room in the Imperial Palace for the duration of their stay.

The people of the Empire and the Imperial Family pray for the well-being of the republic and hope to hear back from your court soon.

Hail, well met and greatings To-be Keizer of the Hadrian Empire,


The administration of the Stadtholder and the upcoming administration of the Bijlkrijger cabinet hereby wishes to accept your invitation for a banquette. Our peoples share a common history of love and war. In the North and streets of Raevendrecht there is a saying that a Van Leuveren venturing to Adelsburg is a bad omen, let us ammend that saying. The Hinterlanders followed the Lichtenfelts King of Hadriana during the days of the rotting plague and we're defeated in the rebellion of the Withmonds, side by side. Thereafter the Hinterlanders and the House van Leuveren served faithfully this new kingdom, succumbing and collapsing in their stead after the Second Hadrian Civil War. However much bad blood was created during the rule of my uncle Arnoud van Leuveren and your brother Phillipp-Wilhelm. Bad blood that foiled the continuation of our Republic in the Freestate and later to be Republic of Raevendrecht. The expansionist policy of the previous, rightfull, Hadrian administration has led our people to war. A war in which I, the Stadtholder and many of my kin have shed blood to maintain our independence and souvereignty. This conflict caused deeps cuts, however the unrightful overthrow of your dynasty at the hand of warmongering robber knights and thieves did not raise any legitimacy in the lands of the Republic. We welcomed you through the open arms of Lord Janczyk Tzyrnowski-Reinhardt. And now it is up to a new generation of rulers to cast aside the chains of the past that has led our peoples to war and to look onward towards a brighter future.

We would accept your request to formalise and host diplomatic relations between our both nations.
