[!] After night falls the day after Der Fluss Landing, a caravan of open carts pulled by skeletal steeds ride onto the aftermath from the east.
They are followed by a small horde of skeletons and ghouls.
The Grand Harvest
"Such beautiful carnage."
A skeletal figure states as he picks up a severed arm from the field.
"So much life wasted."
He throws the arm on a cart lumbering along, pulled by two skeletal steeds.
All around the figure are ghouls and other skeletal figures just like him, ripping and tearing away at the flesh of the freshly fallen, piling the bones onto the other carts that trail them.
"Collect every bone. Rip away the flesh for it is of no use to our master!"
The figure orders those around him.
"I thank thy puny kingdoms for this most generous donation."
the skeletal creature excitingly says to a severed head he collected from the grass before throwing it on his cart.
"The great reaping will soon be upon us and when that day comes we shall come forth in macabre splendor."
"We will not be stopped. Our dark blades will sink deep into living flesh and make them one of us."
"And when that day comes, we shall all be one united force against the voidal bredren."

[!] When you enter the lands where Der Fluss Landing took place, you note that little is left of the fallen. Corpses have been ripped to shreds and stripped of their bones. Organs, flesh, and hair litter the blood-soaked grounds around the river. There is no sign of anything happening except trails leading east.
