It is with a heavy heart and unwavering determination that I address a matter of utmost importance. As your leader, I have always strived to uphold the principles of justice, loyalty, and the well-being of our beloved realm. Today, I must inform you of a grave betrayal that threatens the very fabric of our society.

I regret to announce that I am divorcing my husband, Fynenar Aey'flir the Second. A man who has betrayed not only me but also the trust of every citizen in Luminion. This man, who once stood by my side as a partner, has shown his true colors as a traitor, a deceiver, and a coward.

This man, whom I once trusted with my heart, has driven a dagger deep into it. His actions have shattered the bond we once shared, leaving behind a rift that can never be mended. He has not only betrayed me but also driven a wedge into my family, causing irreparable harm to those I hold dear.
His actions have caused strife within my family, leading to conflicts and divisions that threaten the unity of our bloodline. He has shown no remorse for the pain he has inflicted, choosing instead to further his own selfish ambitions at the expense of those who loved and trusted him.

His betrayal extends beyond our family, as his actions have brought us to the brink of civil conflict. His alliances with dubious entities and willingness to compromise the safety and stability of our realm have endangered us all. His decisions have sown discord among our people, threatening the peace we have worked so hard to maintain.

It has become abundantly clear that this man is nothing more than a lapdog of other powers, a puppet dancing to the tune of those who seek to manipulate and control us. His allegiance lies not with Luminion, but with those who would see our realm weakened and subjugated
Despite my better judgment, he convinced me to allow Aldarian Chamarie, a known traitor, to remain within our borders. This decision was a grave mistake, one that I deeply regret. Aldarian's presence has only served to further undermine our security and trust, and it is a stain on our honor that I will work tirelessly to rectify.

Perhaps the most damning of all is his insistence on allowing Eldrion Aedaere, a man with known voidal allegiances, to stay in Luminion. Despite my clear warnings and reservations, he persuaded me to give Eldrion sanctuary. This has not only compromised our safety but also shown his blatant disregard for the well-being of our people.

Citizens of Luminion, I stand before you not as a victim but as a leader determined to rectify these wrongs. I will not allow this betrayal to go unanswered. Measures are already being taken to remove these threats from our midst, and I vow to restore the peace and integrity of our realm.
Together, we will overcome this dark chapter and emerge stronger than ever. I call upon each and every one of you to stand with me in this endeavor. Let us rid our land of those who seek to harm us and reaffirm our commitment to a united, prosperous Luminion.

Eldrion would take a piece of paper as he looks towards it before muttering some words : you let a high elf who used to be a leader of aerial go dating with a Azari'lunn with out even doing anything and simply giving him a royal pardon

You didn't seen send a letter nor asked anything in the past years instead, instead of going of words perhaps some evidence would be good before pointing fingers but you seems to be fine at doing that while you and your father have been rambling argue how Luminion should be run, while the people suffer under your rule is this how he raised you? before he trew it into the fire and packing his stuff my time seems to be over here..

Apollon would be about on his regular patrol of Eden, gathering news for the Khari'cerr. Spotting the notice on the Luminion notice board with a rather deep sigh. "This is, disappointing." His honeyed gaze now brightening as he'd jot down the information for Izara. "All this time expecting a purity trial for Thallan a condemned voidal sympathizer, instead you oust your own husband..." Apollon would shake his head.

It was only on the back road, partway back to Mitrona that the man would finally fret a smile,
"I shouldn't take pleasure in this, yet, part of me is giddy to let Izara know. You're supposed mother is setting up scape goats and mirrors, here marks another year of an empty Luminion." He'd roll up the notice and place it in his belt.

"Why in she putting aeph thi blame on o man? It in her Khaynari, amn she ultimately holds thi power. So why play thi victim..?" The Khari'cerr said, grabbing the second-hand missive that was given to her by her High Councilor. Izara sat in her study room alone, only a few candles lighting her face and the paper in her right hand. Her expression was heavy-- having several things to think about. She placed her head in her palm.

After several moments of silence, only the sight of a flickering flame next to her, she spoke aloud again:
"Amn yr'durr about Fynenar? Thi Therri'cill cirrétt thi only o who stood up for Luminion at thi pathetic Lord es Bones meeting thi tried to gather." A soft scoff. Her right hand goes to stretch over her mouth, "They a'vi ne room ce speak now." Finally, N'vaestil stood up. Her look cold and distant. As she reached towards two candles with her finger and thumb, she put both out with a singular hiss from the flame. The Khari'cerr was off to bed.

By this point, Elduin has been collecting a ton of notices. Mainly drama from the Enlightened Kingdom, of course. He didn't have many opinions on the matter, but he did raise an eyebrow at the first half of the announcement, as that was the most surprising to him personally.

"Divorce? That feels unheard of for the ruler of Luminion." He could poke a lot of fun at the fact that he's never had to undergo such a process, perhaps making him a step higher than Cirlia, but he felt... strangely bad about the situation.

He and Cirlia weren't exactly the closest during his regency, but he knew how much his parent, Kharis, confided in her in his early days of being first adopted. As much as others tend to paint Cirlia as an inflexible figure of self-importance, she's still a person. It *had* to have been tiring to act so royal all the time, right? If things were different, it would be nice to talk it over.

He clicked his tongue and leaned his head back from the couch he was lounging on.

"Auuuugh..."

Curse this world for invoking a multitude of complicated feelings inside him.

Aestaeana sat in the Aey'flir estate's lounge with her cousin, Valyndra, gossiping and sipping wine. Their laughs echoed throughout the estate before Aldarian and their two children walked into the lounge where they sat. Aldarian kissed Aestaeana on the cheek before sliding a piece of parchment in her hand, her gaze now turning toward him, "Thank you, love." She said with a smile, grasping the parchment and opening it. Aes slowly sipped her glass of wine as her gaze scanned across every word. She continued to read it before she started to giggle a bit at the announcement. "Oh, girl, come read this." Aestaeana said, followed by a laugh as she gestured Valyndra over.

Val set her glass down, followed by an eye-roll, she already knew that what she would be reading was something that amounted to a joke. Aes handed the letter to her with another small chuckle before she stood up to wrap her arms around Aldarian, now whispering to him.
"Everything will be ok, I promise." She reassured him, crouching down soon after to hug her two children, awaiting Val's reaction.

Once Val finished speaking she nodded in agreement,
"A proper family indeed.. although.. isn't divorce supposed to have a heavy punishment?" Aes inquired as she stood up completely. Her eyes now flickering to Aldarian then to Valyndra, Aes' head tilting to the side soon after.

With each statement and question Valyndra said, Aes nodded softly, commenting after.
"Well you know how it is, corrupt people twist things in their favor." She hummed.

Taking the parchment from Aestaeana's hands, she would glance over it, beginning to read it in a dramatized voice, before letting out a giggle.

She would start,
"It is with a heavy heart and unwavering determination that I address a matter of utmost importance." She would laugh, continuing. "It has become abundantly clear that this man..." She would pause. "This man? Are we serious right now?" Then she would continue. "...is nothing more than a lapdog of other powers, a puppet dancing to the tune of those who seek to manipulate and control us."

Sarcastically, she would turn to Aldarion and Aestaeana,
"I can't believe he would ever do this. I can't believe my cousin...how he would manipulate and control us... wow..." She would pause. "Wait, who is 'us' pertaining to? Certainly not me." When she reached the part about Aldarion, she would turn to him again. "And you. You know, I never was a fan of you, but I don't appreciate her stealing my job of insulting your name." Sighing, she would continue as she reached the end with nothing but a confused expression.

"I'm actually quite confused... isn't she the... heir? The person who should know the most about the right and wrongs of these lands? I don't understand what she's waffling about... a whole bunch of malarkey if I do say so myself."

She would set the parchment paper back down, shaking her head. "Well at least Fynn is free now...maybe we can all hang out, as a proper family."

--
Valyndra would shrug her shoulders,
"Well since he's already such a traitorous lapdog, might as well add to the narrative. I think a punishment would only make sense, anyway, if it was mutually agreed upon, or if it was taken infront of a court of somekind." The gears in her head began to turn as she thought further. "Also, divorce would... in theory dock her purity points down, which would make her even less fit to rule, or even to serve as a religious figure. That is, unless she feels the need to twist the rules further, which I cannot foresee that boding well in the eyes of Mother." She would sit down after that, reaching for her glass of water and sipping.
