[!] A letter would be delivered to every citizen of Hadriana. The letter would have the king's handwriting and sigil on it. Merchants would also spread the word of this letter around the world. [!]
To all citizens of Hadriana, this is a personal letter from your king. As you all may know, a demon has visited me yesterday in my castle. I am in good health, but the monster delivered a letter. In this letter, I was requested to personally visit the so-called 'home' of these atrocities, accompanied by the other leaders of the world. A home that has now sprung from the pit in the Cursed Swamp. I have to go alone.
I do not want you all to be in fear and doubt. I will return, I promise you this. The church will give me the blessings I need, and The Maker will be at my side. But there, of course, has to be a plan in case... I do not return.
Due to the queen still being terribly ill and bedridden, in my absence, Lord Krzystof-Jan of the Tzyrnowski family, my second in command and head of the council of lords, will take over the Attian realm. He will be the head of both state and law. And his word will be my word also. In case my death is announced or my body is lost to the realms of Dolus, this will remain so.
I know you all have faith, and we have protected the realm together, good citizens of mine. But these are dark times. And I hope you will have trust and confidence in both The Maker and me. This decision will be final or be my last.
