Dearest Herzog Janczyk,I am writing to you for some clarifications regarding the infamous dark elf "Haldir Sindarin".
The elf showed up at the door of the Temple in the past days with declared good intentions, asking to be baptized and tested as a novice Paladin of the Temple.
As you well know, the Temple of Alder is not in charge of political or justice matters that do not concern heresy and it is not its task to discern criminals within the Empire.
For this reason I feel compelled to ask you what you think of Haldir, whether he is a person under accusation or has any previous details that as a high officer of the Reichsarmee you would indicate as sufficient to exclude the elf from joining the Order.
His former teacher Dain Zakarian, newly baptized, did not feel like vouching for Haldir as already known but did not preclude him from the path of the cassock.
