The sudden boom of popularity that the capital held fell shallow.
Orcs emerged from their homes to mark themselves and pray to the totems; the ancestors,
to mourn the loss of their brother, Akur, the High Shaman. ​

His body was never recovered, and nobody could claim to be a witness.. But they knew.. The thunder hammered the city, the lightning flashed, and the rain poured with an intensity. It was a sign. Two weeks had passed, and then three, and then four. The High Prophet had divined it; their envoy had been killed. Their brother, their Shaman, had been killed. The Prophet’s face did not betray his emotion. He summoned his war-council: His Axe Anno, his Shield Ahng-Lurr, his Sword Nylva Paleheart, his chief of the Goblin scouts Rukguk, and several other notable Orcs of his Flameguard.

He had only one order;

“Operation Shattered Dune is a go.”
