On a hill outside the town stand two chuckling Denur, next to their latest invention. Light-heartedly, the red-haired Denur pulls the lever and ironically calls out to his colleague, "Hope you've placed those signs proper, so that we don't accidentally hurt anyone!"
The other Denur looks at him bewilderedly and says,
"Ya know that message sent to the library should be 'nough. If not, well then our new Kjung's get some work to do.
Win-Win, Ah say."
With a loud bang, the mechanism releases, firing a projectile into the wide plain.
A message to the citizens
[!] The following evening, flyers announcing the news are posted everywhere in Dar-Ach Denur [!]
Greetings, stout kin of Dar-Ach Denur,
'Tis with great pride I declare our recent trials a triumph! Through the sweat of our brows and the strength of our will, we've achieved a feat that shall echo through the ages. Mere adjustments remain ere the new Troll Splitters may grace our walls, casting a shadow of fear upon any creature who dare approach. Our city shall be impregnable, a fortress of unyielding might.
Yet, even as we fortify our defenses, we remain steadfast in our commitment to the Brothers in Stone Lunburg Accord. Let it be known that our honor knows no compromise. In the days ahead, our forges shall blaze anew as we test further war machines. These innovations shall serve as our bulwark against adversity, ensuring the safety and prosperity of our cherished home.
