[!] Flyers would be posted throughout Anjyarr, most notably the city state of Al-Jabrid, and scattered among the rest of the nations of Eden. The flyers would be filled with beautifully inked words resting on thick paper decorated in gold and red embellishments. Intricate rose designs laced the tops and bottoms of the pages. To any whose eyes catch these flyers the following would be written
Many throughout all of Eden are well aware of the lack of organization and unity the Sultanate of Anjyarr faces. The group that sought to take control of our lands, while successful in their takeover, have done nothing to aid us; The people. Sand does not fill our streets, nor blood, or music. Our lands are filled with unnerving silence as we wait for these leaders to take rise. A pitiful title to claim when those can not follow through on which they promised. Leaders are called so because they break silence. They guide those that can not and instill hope in times of uncertainty and hardship. I see no such leaders from the group that started this revolution.
Al-Jabrid has, for ages now, been left unsupported by the Sultanate while the masses vie for the throne. Our population dwindles, our stalls mostly empty of trade, and our streets have been left with hardly any life. A sight I will not bear to see any longer. I came to this city as a merchant, hoping to bring change to Eden. A city bustling with trade, with wares so remarkable that they only could be found in our beloved city. Time and time again I was brushed aside by those in power, by those I respected and did not wish to rise against out of fear of undermining authority. I will no longer stand to see our city fade away. I am breaking this unrelenting silence.
To the good people of Al-Jabrid, I offer myself; Os Laurefindel, as your voice.
I offer myself as our guidance.
I offer myself as a leader.
The City State of Al-Jabrid will no longer be dictated by the empty throne, but by us, the people. I have always, and will continue, to believe that every voice holds weight, all people are to be respected, and that this is something I can not do alone. I implore those that can not bear this silence any longer to join me in the efforts to raise Al-Jabrid from the ashes of the fading Sultanate.

I invite all the members of the previous high council to return to our land, should they seek it. You will be welcomed for all that you have done for us, as it was not entirely the fault of the council that we have halted as a nation. Your wisdom and guidance will be sought after if you wish to return.
While I will be working alone for the foreseeable future, I offer a public discussion to take place within Al-Jabrid in one month’s time. I intend for this discussion to take place within the keep of Al-Jabrid, a building long since abandoned. With the new beginnings of Al-Jabrid I hope to bring life into the building as much as the people who will walk the halls. Any who wish to join in the efforts of guiding Al-Jabrid into this new age may attend, even those that simply wish to air their grievances may also attend. This meeting will be for all, a public affair.
With the foundations of my intentions known I list the following improvements I hope to implement over the next few months.
-Weekly public meetings (The common wealth’s affairs): so that change and organization may bloom
-Monthly gatherings/ feasts: to build unity among our people
-Form a new Jundi: so that we remain protected and can live peacefully
-Flood our markets: so that we may bring Al-Jabrid back to it’s glory as the trading capital in all of Eden
Lastly, I must address the most recent development of the Sultanate, Al-Khadir’s Ralvvon Menaharian. To you and the scholar Esebius; I have no intention of letting you drag Al-Jabrid back into the rot that is the Sultanate.
Let it be known, and known well, that Al-Jabrid is now a free city state.
Should you attempt to govern what has been lost to the Sultanate, I will cut you down with my own two hands. On the counter end, should the Sultanate become functional once more, perhaps a friendly relationship between our two homes could be rekindled. But regardless, neither side has the support of Al-Jabrid and its people. You have started this mess, I implore you to end it before the ashes blow away and fade into oblivion.
