The passing of Krisa Amadeus

There would be a paper on the noitice bords

Hello people of Eden i am sorry to be writing this but sadly a good freind of many Krisa Amadeus has recently passed while on a hunt
that was meant to be simple and fun by an unknown creature though we will gather people to track it down sometime in the future

Description being: Tall as the trees in the forest walks on both 2 and 4 legs looking like a skinny man like thing with a wolf alike face
its skin looks as if its hanging from its body with long sharp wicked claws
although last seen well wounded from the hunt inside the forests between Raevendrecht and Lunburg

!!!WARNING!!!

IF YOU DO ENCOUNTER THIS CREATURE OR STUMBLE UPON IT TRY AND SNEAK AWAY AND DONT LET IT SEE YOU
IT WILL AND CAN EAZILY CATCH YOU

The old man would read through the paper letting out a deep sigh "May the gods take good care of you kind sir Krisa" he'd keep a moment of silence before wandering off.

Elduin crossed his arms in front of the Raevendrecht notice board, feeling a deep sense of relief upon reading the scripture. "So the man finally kicked the bucket." He muttered under his breath before unease began to sink in. This feels... a little too easy for someone like Krisa.

Things don't seem to be over just yet.

Not for Elduin, at least.

An elven Pricecili looks at the notice board. After a moment of deliberation, she tears it down

"Too easy. I highly doubt this to be true."

Aedan would pass by the notice board, he'd grin before chuckling "Finally thi fucking ghesiri bitch in dead..." The Tri'cilus would stand there momentarily scratching his head doubting if it was factual before walking off.

Bluejohn rummages through his boxes to find memorial candles, lighting one in memory of the big man. The creeping niggle of suspicion bites at the jester's intuition, which causes him to puff and wheeze to try to put the candle out.

The candle doesn't go out.

The jester puffs and wheezes with all of his halfling force, near emptying the contents of his stomach as he forces air from his lungs.

The candle remains firm, flame flickering briefly before continuing as strong as ever.

"I only gone and used the silly candles!" he cries out, mouth wide with shock at the realisation! The candles were the jester's-special super burners.

Surely this was not an extended metaphor.

Caligo was going to skip over the posting, but Krisa’s name caught his eye. One read-through later, and Caligo dismissed it with an eyeroll.
“Oh, yes, faking your death, very brave of you Krisa,” he mumbled under his breath. Caligo would have to have a talk with the Bozz as soon as possible about how he was going to go about hiding his identity. It certainly wouldn’t be an easy task; some tiefling help may be appreciated.

Arquia went by to check the board, like everyday. This is when she saw the poster hanging. As she read it she was a bit confused. “Died during a hunting party? As if, I believe none of this!” She then said. “Perhaps I should tell Kharis, he’d be wanting to hear this.” She added before leaving.

“Good friend?” Cecylia scoffs “Now that’s amusing, perhaps now is a good time to send a letter to Kharis, they may appreciate this new development.” @Nyomi_Wood

One way or another, word reached Kharis on the matter.

Faking it's death? That would halt attempts to draw it from the hold in it's tracks. It was plausible. The creature didn't even sound real, anyway. In a world of magic and dragons, a humanoid-like creature with a wolf face as tall as the trees, walking on either two or four legs.. implausible! Unrealistic! Of course Krisa would want to go out in such a way.

Fear drove a creature to incredible lengths. It abandoned the culture of it's people, so far removed from who it once was. Hiding from fights. Displaying incredible lengths of cowardice. Drinking tea. Krisa stated itself that the two favorite things of a faulskin are to fight and drink alcohol. Fear drove it to abandon both of these, leading it's people down a path unnatural to their very beings. Faking one's death was not a far leap of an assumption to make.

But, what if it wasn't fake?

Did Kharis and so many others took to this news with great skepticism simply because it.. wasn't fulfilling? All this effort, all this fighting and resources expended, the lives lost just trying to get to Krisa.. ended by some creature we've never heard of? It didn't sit right because the people didn't want it to sit right. They wanted closure. The end to a saga, to a rich and tumultuous story, to be a fantastic and dramatic one.

Out with a whisper.

She refused to accept it. Yet, that "if" would haunt her until he knew for sure. Saw it's body, or ended it themself. A scene that might not ever occur.

The Librarian took up the poster while writing in his study, briefly reading it's words through his Cowl. With a snort, they added the poster into the Records, before writing at the bottom of the addition.

"Citation Needed"

They've already long dealt with one individual hiding among the population of Eden, after all. It wouldn't be much to uncover another.

[!] Wynn would look at the paper for a moment, before bursting into laughter "Something actually managed to kill that behemoth?" he wipes an amused tear from his eye. "Rest in peace you charming monster." with that, the paper falls from his hand, Soon landing on the floor in a pile of ash.
