Brothers, sisters, people of faith, the servants of Mortius, the Sentinel of Death speaks to you. As His servants, we bring the news that the doors of Die Schwarze Abtei of Veronia have been opened to any who seeks guidance, rest, or wishes to join in the protection of the dead. For those who see Mortius as their dominant Sentinel in the faith Alderism, I ask thee: Why not stand together? Why suffer and pray alone?
The clergy of the Temple of Alder is growing, yet there are still those who need to protect the past, who have to keep watch over the dead while others continue the legacy of Alder Himmelschwert and the Sentinels. The Order hopes to unite those who follow Mortius and his guidance, who are driven by a passionate duty to defend those who have been laid to rest from the corruptive taint of the Demon, the Heretic, and the Mutant. As His Custodians, we guide those lost in sorrow and grief, attend to those suffering from sickness or blight, look over the dead, and prepare them for a peaceful and safe passage to the afterlife, where Mortius will wait for them.
We seek more members to fulfill these duties across the realm; we seek those who believe they are worthy to continue the legacy of the Sentinel, to perform his tasks in the world of the living, in the name of the greater Pre-determination. We are the black sword of Mortius, wielded against the enemies of mankind and the holy Light. We are the hands that offer guidance and peace to those in mourning. We are the protectors of the circle of life, the black knights that stand defiant against the Order of Chaos.
