Grütte, to all the people in das Hadrianischer Reich.

In the second official session of the Imperial Diet some years ago, said institute approved the proposal, und creation of ein Ministry of Magical Affairs with ein vote of seven to zero. This ministry was, und is, to maintain and control the usage of magic within unser beloved Empire. Though back then, due to logistical problems, und lack of administrative power, such ein Ministry could nicht be created. Instead the powers of handing out magic permits was granted to the Church of Alder, yet only temporary.

Now, after all dieser jahren the Imperial Council of das Hadrianischer Reich can finally announce the official creation of das Ministerium für magische Angelegenheiten, better known as the Ministry of Magical Affairs.


The Ministry

The ministry will, in its earliest stages, be controlled by the Imperial Council to deflect the sudden outburst of administrative work über several people. In addition to that, there are the new system und structures on which the ministry will operate.

As per usual, requesting und obtaining a permit will be necessary to lawfully cast magic within das Hadrianischer Reich. Für those that already have ein permit, granted by the church of Alder, it ist good to know that all such permits will be deemed unlawful und have to be re-requested at your earliest convenience. The cost of such ein permit will consist of 100 Andros, und permits have to be renewed every year. Additionally, the Council requires spellcasters to provide evidence of their magic type, und disclose their casting item, gem or relic.

Casting magic without permit will result in ein official, public, branding as witch oder wizard, after which, witch hunters are free to hunt said individual und bring them to justice. A witch hunter that succesfully brings a rightfully accused witch or hedge-wizard to justice, will recieve a monetary reward of 200 Andros.
The official punishment for such magical crimes can result in ein fine, maiming oder even death.

Brita looked upon the writing, squinting her eyebrows together. Running her fingers over the awfully small writing, as only half of it was readable for her. "You can't force people who have already paid to pay again? Hmph, this is a scam of the people.. A scam of the ones practicing magic that we all walk around. Perhaps no one should be using magic at all then, if it goes to cost a fortune." She scoffed, rising from the table she sat at, she carried her loud and prestigeous footsteps over to the fireplace. Brita threw the notice into the fire, allowing it to burn to scrambs. She clapped her hands together, smiling at her own work.
