"Eleven wagons have gathered and more approaching, Lord Palatine." Said a young serf as he made a respectful bow. His breath was heavy from walking up the hill to a man holding a notebook and charcoal pencil. The man was known as Egon-Koenraad, the head of the High Imperial Council of the Hadrian Empire. He wrote down the numbers of wagons, their resources, their amount, and the people gathering for the work. He was keeping track of everything: overlooking everything. He was the Lord Palatine, after all.

"Thank you, that would be all." Said Egon-Koenraad in a dismissive manner. He waved him off. The serf quickly ran down the hill to join the rest of the crowd of men, and the Lord Palatines' gaze followed. It stopped as he could have a better view over the main road leading south, back to Adelsburg.

The main road was littered with materials, wagons, and men of all ages fit for work. Some were serfs gathered from their lords or land owners to help the Lord Palatine. Others had come to earn a good buck, but many came from the town across the hill. And many more wished to see their big project's result after they were done with the hard work.
It was a pain, however. The flora of the Blackwood Forest to their west had grown substantially over a few years and caused the main road to narrow. This cramped the space even more, thanks to the many wagons coming in and out with supplies.

But this did not stop the enormous project, and it did not stop the men from their work. Egon-Koenraad smiled and waved over a man who led a large group of workers over to him. As the man arrived at the hill, heavy in breath like the serf before him, he nodded and bowed his head in respect, looking down.
"You wished to see me, mister?" The man spoke in a deep accent originating from the Heartlands. The Lord Palatine kept his eyes on the column down below. "Are the people ready?" his gaze shifted to the man, who slowly looked up with eyebrow raised. He looked over his shoulder and back at the lord, the corners of his mouth lifting into a proud smile. He then straightened his back. "They are fit and ready. Eagerness and devotion thrive them, mister. They all wish to see this town flourish again as it did in the old Kingdom." he said, just as proud. Egon-Koenraad gave him a grin in return. The scar over his left eye twitched, causing his blind eye to narrow. "Very well, let us begin."

The man bowed to him and ran down the hill, shouting over the column the following orders. The hundreds of workers began to move: serfs and free men of all ages, began to lift their tools, beams of wood, and planks. The Lord Palatine looked at it with a smile of satisfaction. Over his shoulder, the Castle of Hadriana-Town was already covered in scaffoldings. The first group of people was already working hours to deconstruct and reconstruct the castle, to bring it back to its glory days. The town of Hadriana, like the castle, was going to change drastically. The church bell rang 6 times: it was 6 o'clock in the morning. The work had begun.
