Merhaba, citizens of Anjyarr and foreign nations of the continent,

For too long, the nation of Anjyarr has been stale in its celebrations and holidays for cultures to meet and bond. For the world has become harsh and doubtful of its surroundings and safety. Now, with many hostile factions around the world either being disbanded, or finally taken down, and peace returning to many nations, Anjyarr has prepared itself for its gates to open again, to let the markets be flooded and the trade to thrive again. The trade city of Al-Jabrid, which has stood as a trade hub for centuries in the past, has become quiet. Its feasts and celebrations, which united people all over the continent, have been discontinued in favor of closed-gate policies and the protection of its citizens. Now, it is time to open them and start the seasonal sea fish harvest: a Samudara is declared!

Al-Jabrid celebrates Samudara, a local festival that marks the start of a new fishing season, during which new sails are raised and the nation's fishermen are praised. All those who wish to partake in the race of the biggest catch and show their mastery over the waves and skill in fishing are allowed to join.

How to participate:
To join, a group of a minimum of three would need to contact the ruling High Council of Anjyarr, which will host the event in Al-Jabrid, either by bird or in person. They would each be assigned a ship or dock in the Al-Jabrid harbor with their own, which they could then decorate themselves to represent their party during the festival. Once that has occurred, the celebration will start with a small prayer to a local guide of religious importance and to honor those that have been lost at sea throughout history. After, the boats, covered in decorative flags, set sail to catch fish. Whoever would return first to the harbor with full nets (15 fish) would win and be honored as the best fisherman or woman of the season.
The winner will be awarded a hefty price of Andros and receive a gem from the Sultana herself! They may decide what they will do with the caught harvest; keep, sell, or hand it out in celebration.

It is a local celebration that originated from the first settling sailors of Al-Jabrid. All participants in the race or other festivities must respect the culture and traditions and bring their own tools, nets, and fishing rods for participation.
All
hostilities by all participating factions are to be seized inside the walls of Al-Jabrid and its waters where the sailors will be fishing. Failure to comply will result in a ban from the city, your ship (if it stands on your name) being seiced until the festivities have ended, and a hefty vine to be handed out. All ships loaned from the Al-Jabrid port to the participants will be returned after the race.

The festival shall be held in a few weeks when the sun rises from the eastern horizon. We hope to see you all present!
"May the Light of Iʂik shine brightest on your Path."
