Concerning the reply to the reasonable and just demand by King Roderick Withmond, King of the Hadrians and Heir of the Attian Throne, we have been utterly appalled by the abysmal display of diplomacy performed by the Dark Elven menace in the south. We seek to remind you of the ruins that are bestowed from the ancestral empires of man that once ruled the sands you yet defile to this day and use as a cowardly retreat from your superior Azari-brethren in the Luminous Enclave of Aerial. Your occupation and enslavement of the Khadan is a total embarrassment to the heritage of empires that once sifted through these parts. The sandstone once used to create great monuments now shattered and reassembled as so-called houses in the city which is more akin to a refugee camp filled with vermin and ran on the back of slaves.
Our glorious King in his rightful endeavor to venture to Al-Khadir to seek justice from the cowardly ambush displayed by misformed little halfling demons aided by an Azari’lunn official has been foiled by the same treachery that caused it in the first place. You lecture us on our literacy, we lecture on your lack of decency.
To use and misuse an accident involving one of your own citizens in your streets to blame the peaceful and righteous knights of Hadriana for ill tend is a level of diplomacy only displayed by halfling vermin.
We seek yet again to remind you that one of your corrupted councilmen by the name of Sig'vyl Al-Buthara was aiding fermented midgets in ambushing the King of Hadriana with the intention of killing him, only for our glorious king to stride and escape the deadly onslaught. Where the brigands assisted by Sig'vyl Al-Buthara continued with murdering livestock that is quintessential for the survival of the Hadrian peasantry. Witnessed by those that could survive and verified by the honest clergy that consoled the beset King who recalled this tale supported by the Maker’s truth.
Our glorious King upon entering Al-Khadir to demand an audience with the lackluster Emira was then intimidated, and harassed by those same halfling bandits that sought kill him before. This very thing happened in the streets and under the watchful eye of the Emira, letting us conclude that she was firstly incapable of intervention and secondly in league with these very bandits that continued to guard her palace whilst the Hadrians pleaded for the King’s safety. His safety was threatened by a mere Dark Elven hostage attempt.
The Emira then set upon humiliating the ruler of a friendly and peaceful state that only sought to gain answers about the crimes committed against the Kingdom of Hadriana by Halflings and Dark Elves alike. The King was then again humiliated and even spat upon by halflings within the halls of the Emira’s Palace, this abysmal treatment cannot stand.
We would like to thank the Emira for at least accepting the gifts we brought to this would-be constructive occasion but utterly condemn her approval, usage, and involvement in halfling terrorism.
We give the Sultana 7 days to expel all halflings out of Al-Khadir and deliver Sig'vyl Al-Buthara to stand trial in Hadrian Law. Or else the Kingdom of Hadriana will cut off all diplomatic ties and relations with the Emirate of Al-Khadir.
