With the recent establishment of the Second Republic of the Hinterlands, the Hooglandsche Vrystaet, I Silas Moetiour- Van Leuveren invite all citizens to the gathering of the fourth official Estates General. During the gathering of the 4th Estates General we will install a premilinary government leading up to the first elections in one year (1.5 month from now)

Proceedings
The Stadhouder has written the following proposals for the Estates General to vote on:
1. The Hooghlandsche Vrystaet will Establish a state budget for the upcoming term leading up to elections.
2. Tarrifs, Taxes and Rent are up for open discussion, though will need to be determined corresponding to the budget.
3. The Gate Policy of Raevendrecht is to be discussed.
4. The raise of a professional State Army and determine its tasks and budget.
5. Open discussion on the grounds of religious worship in the Hooghlandsche Vrystaet and the posibility of requesting a Hadrian Priest to hold sermon in the Freestate.
6. A discussion on the upcoming expenses concearning food supply to the Freestate.
7. The Staten Generaal is to ratify future advances in diplomacy between the Freestate and the Kingdom of Luminion to sign a treaty of mutual friendship and assistance.
8. To officially welcome the House Tzyrnowski to the Hooghlandsche Vrystaet as guests in exile and grant them citizenship.
9. Lastly the Staten Generaal is to elect a Raadspensionaris to form the future core of the legislative arm of government who can, himself, write proposals to the Staten Generaal and represent a majority.

After the Staten Generaal concluces a small feast will be held, foreigners may attend if invited by a citizen.

Every 1.5 year (72 days) a General Election is called in the Freestate. All adult citizens of the republic can put themselves up for election to the Estates General. This is the legislative body of the Freestate and consists of all representative citizens with the right to vote, until a high enough population is reached to elect representative. Within the Estates General the chosen citizens vote for the Raadspensionaris, who for a term of one and a half years will represent the Estates General with legislative measures. The Stadhouder, leader of the executive branch also has a vote in the Estates General and is the head of the State Army. The Estates General, for example can vote on diplomatic issues, taxes, laws and government structure, whilst the Stadtholder & Raadspensionaris exercises them.
