Operation Arachnophobia was executed with the primary objective of setting up a forward base within the jungle, and to establish an area in which we could conduct research on captured monsters. The journey began on treacherous roads, where we defended our caravan from wolves and spiders as we made our way south.

Upon reaching the southern bay, we unloaded our supplies onto boats and embarked on a voyage through unforgiving waters. Fortunately, our waterborne passage remained uneventful, granting us safe arrival at the predetermined campsite. With spirits high, we commenced the construction of our encampment.

However, our initial moments of respite were abruptly shattered by the unexpected assault of a
colossal crab, wreaking havoc upon our burgeoning camp. Undeterred, we rallied together, displaying courage and resolve in the face of chaos. With calculated precision, we disabled the crab's legs and delivered decisive blows to its vulnerable points, ultimately subduing the menacing creature.

As we began to secure the fallen crab, we detected the presence of nearby hostiles to the west. Venturing into the dense jungle, we encountered a fierce array of adversaries, including wolves, spiders, giant rats, and even formidable trolls. Our battle was hard-fought, with our Jaegers sustaining notable casualties in their pursuit of victory.

It should be noted that we were assaulted by multiple different creatures, all at once. This is clearly unnatural, and so my suspicions of a
dark influence coordinating these beasts grows stronger.

Returning to our encampment, we tended to the wounded, restoring their strength and resilience. The damage inflicted upon the campsite during the encounter necessitated swift repairs, and we resourcefully utilized the harvested crab's carapace to fortify our defenses. We need more men. What lies within the ruin is far too dangerous for us to handle just yet.
