Royal Decree Regarding the De’nevir
Issued Saintsday 08, Highbloom 1526

The Azari'cill and the De'nevir have a long shared history within the Glade of Dragons.
For many moons, the two races exchanged knowledge and pushed the pinnacle of civilization that is the Enlightened Kingdom forward.
Yet the De'nevir have always been treated as second-class citizens since the days of the Rotting Plague. This is now about to change.

By royal decree, from this day forward, the De'nevir are of equal standing as the Azari'cill. The De'never can now be first-class citizens. They enjoy the same rights as the 'cill and are permitted to freely access the temple of the Mother without the guidance of a Scinari.

May all De'nevir find a home within the walls of the Enlightened City of Luminion.

A wandering minstrel treads carefully upon the streets of the Enlightened City;
horned as he may be, he feels not judged by the cast gazes of the elves.

There is comfort there. Unfamiliar, though it feels like home. Almost.
Procuring a small lyre from his satchel - the De'nevir takes stance ahead of the bench preceding the fountain.
Left foot forwards, right foot back, clutching the lyre to his heart, and delicate dark fingers to pluck at its strings..
..an Ode to Peace;

"There was a time where sun and dust and sand,
and breath and sight as mine and thine,
ere to me did seem my only hand,
though loath as I the lunar shine;
Of royal song and blood so true,
enlightened mine sight has been,
in Elven winds that fresh they blew,
know not where I could even begin!

Then join together though horned my song,
may ever thine rule lay bright,
ever guided by thy light,
no blight, nor anguish, nor strife, nor grief,
thine hand in mine and breath relief;
may harmony ever remain strong.
Though children of joy, may some thoughts fangle,
On behalf of kin, mine gratitude;
Ever grateful, thine bard - Tangle."
