STRUCTURE OF THE KINGDOM

In the year of our Ruler, ALDER HIMMELSCHWERT, 1534, it established here how the realms of this kingdom shall be organized. Aleksandra Baireiksing calls upon all citizens to adjust themselves to a new hierarchical system of political organization. The nation shall now be divided into Kindland, and further into Fraujinassus, which will be overseen by a governor, or Kindin, with a Garāfijō ruling below them.

The noble class as it has historically stood will henceforth no longer exist in the form it has previously taken. The new system of land ownership will afford landowners the right to request a legion from the central government, but they will not have power over a military force directly any longer. Instead, full power over the military will be vested in the Thiudan.

HIERARCHY

Kindins - 𐌺𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌹𐌽𐍃
These are governors of an entire Kindland, usually reigning over a large swathe of land that can include multiple cities and townships. They report taxes and census information to the central government and are the political entity just above the Garāfijō.

Garāfijō - 𐌲𐌰𐍂𐌰𐍆𐌹𐌾𐍉
These rule over a smaller section of and, under the Kindlands. They usually rule over a single city or a collection of smaller hamlets, though larger Kindlands may require larger Fraujinassus. Garāfijō also report their own taxes and census information to the Kindin, who relays it to the government upon their own assessment.

Kindland - 𐌺𐌹𐌽𐌳𐌻𐌰𐌽𐌳
A Kindland is a swathe of land, often including a handful of towns and their surrounding suburbs. They are a relatively small political designation.

Fraujinassus - 𐍆𐍂𐌰𐌿𐌾𐌹𐌽𐌰𐍃𐍃𐌿𐍃
These sit just below the hierarchy, with Kindlands being just above them. They usually involve a very small section of land that reports directly to the Garāfijō.
