The Hadriana Atheneum and Archive has been established for one overarching purpose: To encourage the collection, preservation and distribution of knowledge. Education is not only the main priority, it is the singular priority of the Archive. With education comes purpose, and with purpose comes success and the gratification of the soul. To fuel this effort to preserve and distribute knowledge, the Archive is looking for donations of all kinds, and is enthusiastic to deliver compensation directly to contributors. However, specific book subjects are held in higher consideration due to current sparsity of materials. Books and other texts will have a baseline payment of 15 Andros, while subjects listed below have a payment range of 25 to 100 Andros for Original works depending on quality. Copies of works will be paid at half the price of original works. Materials for writing, such as parchment, books, quills, and ink, are available at no charge at the Adelsburg Library.

Desired Subjects:
History Texts, especially those in relation to militaries and establishment or collapse of nations.
Biology Texts, including but not limited to macrozoology, entomology, botany, and horticulture.
Any natural science, such as geology, astrology, and alchemy.
Linguistics, including guides to languages and dictionaries.
Medical Texts, journals, and studies pertaining to illness and the manners in which they are treated.
Any Denur Texts, translated or untranslated.
Longform Fiction which exceeds at least five hundred (500) words.

Note: Possession of any kind of text does not guarantee payment! Consult the Bookkeeper or other employee directly for assessment of texts.

The Archive is also looking to purchase various specimens for public presentation. Artifacts, particularly aesthetically pleasing specimens and specific kinds of artwork will be considered.

Desired Specimens and Price Ranges:
Geological Specimens, specifically those of an unusual or rare nature. Common native ores and common gems will only be accepted if they are of particular note or are especially large in size.

◈ Prices Range from 5 to 25 for small specimens, 30 to 75 for medium specimens, and 80 to 150
for large specimens.
Entomological Specimens, including but not limited to spiders, beetles, mantids, bees and their relatives, cockroaches, butterflies, moths, crickets, dragonflies, mosquitos, scorpions, tarantulas, earwigs, ladybugs, silverfish, assassin bugs, katydids, cicadas, the larval stages of all mentioned above, molts of juveniles, as well as empty or sterile egg sacs or egg cases.

◈ Prices Range from 0.1 for each dead specimen, and 0.25 for each living specimen, with exception given to particularly unusual or difficult to acquire pieces. Specimens are requested to be brought undamaged, preferably alive. Oversized specimens which exceed the size of a breadbox are not being accepted at this time.
Paleontological Specimens, such as fossilized plants and animals or specimens preserved in substances such as amber or tar. Remains or artifacts which are identified to belong to any of the sapient races will NOT be accepted. Fossils will be judged on the basis of their completeness.
◈ Prices Range from 5 to 20 for small fossils, 20 to 35 for medium fossils and 35 to 50 for large fossils. Fossilized bones of particularly large animals which require some amount of assembly will be compensated 3 to 5 Andros per each complete bone, mostly complete bone, or assembled fragments of a single bone.
Artworks which are of diagrams, depictions of relevant locations of discoveries, or otherwise communicate educational visual information.
◈ Prices will be negotiated on an individual basis.

For books, I am looking for works which are signed and considered complete. Original copies are highly preferred, though copies of originals and copies of copies will also be considered if they meet a basic standard of legibility.
For the specimens, I’m looking to receive some sort of itemized items, preferably ones which are approved, though approval is not a strict requirement to receive payment. If you’re making your own to present, get creative with it! Higher detail in item description encourages a higher payout. Canvas art is also highly encouraged. For the sake of clarification, canvas art can be used to represent a specimen or a collection of specimens—It is not strictly isolated to itemized items.
