Lunburg Banners: Orange Update

♖ First Banner turning Orange ♖

Due to a recent agreement with Raevendrecht council, the Banners are taking control of the fleet in Lunburg, the new seat of the Republic Admiralty.
The Banners leader, Percival Schwan will finally be named first Admirael of the orange city fleet.

The recent instability in the region has been seen with apprehension by the Lunburg Banners.
Lunburg lords Tzirnoskis have decided to leave the city due to the most recent political events, leaving the town rotting in disuse and moving into Hadriana.
This is why the Banners will now administer the surroundings of Lunburg for the orange city council, in order to make Lunburg shine again.

The First Banner, leading the organization, has been renamed to the Orange Banner, and will swear loyalty to protect the waters of the Republic by any hostile intruder.

The independence of any other banner of the company will be granted and will remain like before. Businessmen and honest investors will have their office and autonomy protected by the motherly and protective eye of the Republic.
RIghts and duties will remain like before, with the addition of an increased status for anyone who enters the Orange Banner.

Recruitments are still open.

Rights and advantages of being in a Banner

I.By entering the Orange Banner, you get to be a citizen of Ravendrecht, have a house as any free man should have and take part in all the Banners’ nautical missions and training to become a true marine force.

You get to embark on trade missions for the Republic and get to apprehend both warfare and nautical know-how.

II. Being registered as a Banner means you will have access to all the contacts available to the Schwans and the Lunburg Banners, thus being able to get to know the politics and any problems in Eden that may turn into a hiring opportunity for the group.
III. The Banners are an official company, recognized in multiple countries. Being part of the Banners means to be considered a recognizable, prestigious man of the people, not some random homeless beggar in search of the next job.
If you’ll ever encounter law problems, the Banners law office will provide your defense and deploy their prestige and credibility to put you under the brightest light
IV. A place to live. If your Banner has enough numbers, the Banners themselves will provide you one in Lunburg.
V. You’ll be able to use Banner’s sigil on your items and produce Banner products, whose secret recipes are hidden in the company’s strongboxes.
VI. A cool uniform to wear. Being part of a Banner also means wearing a cool personalized version of the Banner uniform, which may be discussed with the Schwans when your Banner grows in prestige. but you will also be able to wear your captain’s designs, if you want to!

Duties and rules

I.Entering the Orange Banner you swear to defend the Republic of Raevendrecht and its stadtholder, to carry high the honor and prestige of the Republic naval tradition in all the seas of Eden.

II. By getting into a Banner, you swear to remain either independent or a Raevendrecht citizen. If you enlist as another country citizen, you cannot be recruited by that faction, cannot cover any relevant role and may be called to fight that faction. Therefore this rule.
Merchant republics or small non aligned factions (Switzerland-like) are yet accepted.
III. If you are in a Banner, you have to respect your captain's rules and orders, since the captain of your banner will be the one entrusted by the company for each of his members. If your captain asks you to be removed from his Banner, you will be removed and you can only ask to enter another Banner.
IV. Even if Banners have large autonomy, any activity must be reported and decided together with the Orange Banner, which is currently led by the Schwans family. Also, keep in mind that the Raevendrecht’s Stadtholder has veto power on any hiring of the Lunburg Banners.
V. Entering the Banners, you swear to work for the interest of the company. Should you betray its trust or fight against these interests above, you and possibly your whole Banner may be removed.

Lunburg Banners is a company founded by Percival Schwan, a merchant from Adelsburg, in 1532. Its tax and law offices are now located in the Lunburg harbor, with official permission to operate in Hadriana and in the Anjyarri Empire. In 1533 an agreement was signed for bannermen to operate in Anjyarr and steer trade goods through the Anjyarri waters.
The Banners business fields are extensive. We will mention here a small list.

Civilian: Maps drawing and trading, Exploration, Archeology, Books writing and trade, Trade of Anjyarri and Northern Markets goods, Banking and news writing and reporting.
Military: Adventuring, Problem solving, Mercenary service.

[!] Would stand aboard the former whaling vessel, repurposed for trade as he looked onwards towards the harbor and the Orange and Blue flag that flew over the city [!] "The Tzyrnowkis have decided they want to go back and play in their feudal playground. It is now up to us here and now to bring democracy to this fruitfull land, and may it serve as a guarding light for all the North. "He turned towards an officer on deck, one Percival Schwan "Mister Zwaan I entrust that the Admirality is in safe hands. We'll just have to see if we can find a more 'fitting' name for the city now.
