[!] A letter with the Imperial Hadrian seal was delivered to Raevendrecht's castle and Lunburg in case the capital was no more by raven. To who? The Hadrians did not know. They simply wish to establish contact with whoever is left after this so-called revolution.

To those who dwell in the capital of the revolution and beyond,

The loud bells calling for revolution have not gone unnoticed within the borders of The Empire. With the stadtholder deposed shortly after a frightening call for aid, the Hadrian state is left to wonder what entity is left ruling the north. Has the capital fallen? Is the Stadtholder alive, taken hostage, or dead? The Hadrian Empire confirmed its willingness to accept a call for aid if need be and if any life remains, we are still willing to answer. Though doubt was sown as these so-called revolutionaries seemed to only be speaking ill of the peaceful entity that is the Empire of mankind.

We request a written reply from the governing body of the republic to answer our questions and confirm that mortal life still reigns supreme.
If life reigns, we wish to establish official relations to discuss the future of our two nations. But if no reply comes, we shall march north to reclaim and save as much mortal life as we can before abandoning it permanently.

May Alder guide the path of whoever is left.

Signed,

Diederick-Gobel von Lichtenfelts

A loud sigh filled the room as Johan read through the piece of parchment in front of him once again. Dissatisfied with his work, he crumbled it up into a ball and threw it into the fire after which he started over on a fresh sheet. Concentrated as he was, he failed to notice someone knocking on the door at first.
“Sir-” someone called out from behind the door, as they knocked again. “-A letter has arrived, bearing the Hadrian seal.” the voice announced. This time they managed to catch Johan's attention. “Come in.” He replied as he mentally prepared himself for what was about to come.
He accepted the letter with a nod and waited for the young man to leave the room before breaking the seal.

He laid the letter out in front of him and nervously rummaged through his beard as he read through the letters’ content. Though as he reached the end of the letter his nerves seemed to settle. He shook his head slowly as he let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding in.
“Did the emperor not read the letter we sent out?” he snorted to himself as he rolled the letter back up, safely stowing it away as he set out to find the members of the provisional government.
