Marketday 14th, Edenrest 1531

This morrow my militia-men discovered that all Hadrian banners on the bridge crossing between Flussland and The Highland Freestate had been burned and replaced with the banners of the Republic of Raevendrecht.

After the recent 'Denur' debacle this could only be seen as a insult towards House Tzyrnowski and the Empire of Hadriana, aming to provoke. As a result the following the following course of action is to be taken, a meeting.

Silas Moetiour van- Leuveren, Stadholder of Ravendrecht you are hereby summoned to Flussland, and explain why this action has been taken under the eye of the 'vigilant' Republic.

You may take a small retinue of three with you.
From one Makerist to another, you have my word that you shall return to Raevendrecht without harm.

Signed,
Janczyk-Mariusz Tzyrnowski

Herzog of Flussland
Nobleman of the Empire
Champion of Adelsburg

[!] Would respond with mild surprise with a Raeven flying towards Lunburg sealed and adressed to Janczyk [!]

My friend, I do not recognise these vigilanty vandalist attacks. As you have lived in the Republic as well I see fit to remind you that our system does not allow any sudden attacks without permission from the Estates General, as we're not some monarchy where the horsewhipping of an Emperor decides everything.

I would also kindly remind you on our meeting a few weeks past. In which we discussed a unified response and investigation against major vandalism on Holy Sights to the Maker in both our nations. Now I see fit to ask you why I would jeopardize Raevendrechts relations with the only reasonable Lord in Hadriana. Truly, the lies, insults and manipulative comments of your Emperor, who'm you yourself have expressed your doubts on, on the Denur raised nothing but laughter in Raevendrecht and we're quickly dismissed in the Estates General as the ramblings of an insecure wounded man that would rather distract his people from his failures by antagonising another nation. You of all should recognise that Raevendrecht has nothing to gain by these vigilanty attacks and I would ensure you that any true Republic operation would be greater in size, power and impact.

I would write this attack off as nothing more than a vigilanty attempt from a third party, perhaps these pledgers we discussed, or overly nationalistic citizens, which would require further investigation, and be dealt with accordingly by Raevendrechts authorities. If you would have me visit Lünburg over some flags and dumbfound graffitti then I accept, but I shall not limit my escort when venturing in the lands of the Empire.

Signed:
Stadtholder Silas van Leuveren
