Harvestday 26, Goldscorch, 1540

Dear reader of this letter,

Hereby we invite you all to our upcoming bonfire festival, located in the Duchy of Bergwaltz, the Hadrian Empire.
To celebrate a new beginning and safe haven where our human races could come together in peace, despite being a Hinterlander, Khadan or Attian, we shall be hosting festivities in two Saint Days.

Not only shall we use this festival to celebrate a new chapter for the Duchy of Bergwaltz, but we shall also be celebrating our new Duchess' 20th nameday.
There will be plenty of food and drinks present. We will spend our time well, telling each other tales and stories about our past, whilst looking at the future.

I bid you a good day, and may we see many friendly faces during this festivity.
May Alder guide us,

Signed,

Sugm'a, in a twist of fate, nearly tripped over a mysterious letter sprawled indolently across the ancient temple floor. With a mix of curiosity and a hint of suspicion, he scooped it up, his eyes narrowing into a skeptical squint. "Tew many fahkin' words," he grumbled, his voice escaping through the tapestries of the temple walls with the sound of irritation and bemusement. In a theatrical flourish, he flung the verbose missive into the nearby green flames, which danced as if eagerly awaiting this papery offering. The letter hissed and crackled in protest, but Sugm'a watched, a smirk playing on his lips, as the words were consumed by the hungry, green fire, their secrets disappearing into the flickering light. "Moch bettah," he chuckled, turning away with the air of someone who had just simplified the complexities of the universe.

After receiving the notice, Veredra promptly made her way to her house. She placed her bag on the floor and settled onto her couch to carefully read the contents of the parchment. With her icy blue eyes, she carefully scanned the words. Then, she swiftly picked up an envelope from her table and hastily wrote a brief letter. After folding the note, she placed it inside the envelope as well and called for her pigeon, sending it away to find a certain someone.

"Oh, someone will love to hear about this.."

Seated in his office, Manuel raises an eyebrow at the Raven-delivered letter resting on his desk. Unfolding it, his eyes widen momentarily, a small grin forming as he reads its contents. With a subtle nod of satisfaction, he props up the letter and tears it into pieces.

"Oh, I'm going to have such a great time visiting another Hinterlander Duchy," he muses to himself, his tone tinged with anticipation. "Perhaps they may know more, or who knows, someone will spread their ridiculous propaganda of republicanism. Pathetic, really." With that, he returns to his work, the mention of the upcoming visit not deterring his focus.

"How does this even manage to reach the Forest?" She raised an eyebrow, discarding the paper quickly.
