✠ Securing the future of the Temple ✠

[!] A mysterious figure, shrouded in a black robe, would silently pin a cryptic pamphlet to the notice board of various settlements around the Hadrian Empire, including the northern province of Flussland. Whispers of his bone-white skull mask and the enigmatic nine-pointed star hanging around his neck would circulate among those who encountered him. A private letter with the same message is delivered to the Imperial palace for the Kaiser. [!]

To the Brüders and Süsters of the Temple of Alder and the Imperial ruler, Kaiser Diederick-Gobel von Lichtenfelts,

Since the untimely demise of our revered and pious Vater, Gregor von Volker, the Clergy has been torn asunder. In the north, the treacherous factions, led by the suspected Demonically-influenced Zladimir De Tiri, wander the lands, deluded into thinking that Alder guides them in a divine mission because of slanderous accusations without provided evidence. In the heart of the realm, the Clergy is embroiled in internal strife, with members taking sides or remaining silent out of fear or political ambition. We have never been more splintered since the Temples' schism centuries ago at the founding of our Kingdom, which created the Makerist Church and later the Wahrheit Alderism branches. Never again should we turn to such a blasphemous course of action, for we are all one in the light of the great Oracle. But it is something I fear will happen in the oncoming future of our beloved realm.

Therefore, I, Gottfried Fredric Von Wolfhard, Black Abbot of the Schwarze Abtei of the Cult of Mortius, and Erzbishop of Brandenhafen, hereby call for a gathering of all members of our Temple to deliberate its future. We need to seek a new figure who shall bind us together. A new Vater is not just a necessity but a beacon of unity, binding all faithful hands together and speaking as the voice of the Sentinels. Only through him can we maintain order and ensure a prosperous future in the name of the Greater Pre-Determination. Only through him can we secure triumph against the forces of the Neverborne, the Witch, and the Heretic. But also rectify the dispute we now face.

Yet, this is also a call to the Kaiser. If, by chance, the clergy remains divided, I ask the Kaiser, the rightful descendant of Alder and ruler of this realm, to demand the vote and set the next course of action. I want him to share his voice and concerns in the matter, for only he can set our path straight if we cannot do so in our strife.

For those who recognize the same concerns as I do, I implore you to do what is right and respond to this call. Let your guiding voice, the light bestowed upon you by the Sentinels, illuminate and aid us in uniting in faith. Answer this letter, and we shall arrange the time and day for our crucial meeting. For those who think otherwise, believe their actions to be just, and disregard the issue and our future, we know where you stand in the days ahead.
Let their sacrifice be their salvation. It will be the penance for their insolence.

Pain is transient. Life is transient. The Oracle is eternal.

This is a request to all members of the clergy of the Temple of Alder. If you wish to solve the issues we are currently facing, react to the message in order to set up a meeting to discuss the future ahead, but also discuss the matters on a new Vater.

While I have no issue with you starting off this rp, it just rubs the wrong way that you who had a hand in basically making the player feel like he had to pk his character being the first one to capitalize off it. Just feels like an asshole move.

I respect your thoughts and opinion. Though, while I will not go into the whole ordeal to deeply, I never wanted him to PK his character nor forced him to do it. And like it or not, irp, we do need a Vater. I am just the first who calls it like it is. You could do it as well you know?

I politely ask you keep these issues in a ticket or just for yourself. We do not need all these issues in posts or public forums. Matter has been solved by moderation, no need to keep bringing it up. Thank you beforehand! 🫡👍

Upon seeing a mysterious figure at the notice board of Volgrad, she began to walk up. As the figure left she looked to him with a side-eye, although it was soon accompanied with a glare.

The woman then lazily turned her head toward the notice, her eyes then dragged down toward who wrote it.
“Ah, of course.” She said with a scoff.

Without reading the notice, she simply tore it down, bringing it to her brother, Zladimir, and her Uncle, Aleksander.
“This man should throw himself into one of his dug up graves.” Eva said with a huff.

A young woman with blonde hair wearing the Sister of Alda uniform walks up to the noticeboard and reads the notice, sighing once she's done
"Ich have never been fond of the Mortius Cult nor Gottfried, but ich have to admit, he has ein point."
She copies the notice down in her notebook and walks towards the newly-renovated Norbüren Keep, probably to inform her family

Once again, instead of using the forums as a mean to express your OOC concerns, make a mod ticket in the support Discord. This is no appropriate place.

A pair of dull blue eyes passed one of the notices placed in Norburen and the familiar crest of the Mortius cult caught her eyes. She looked away for a moment to ensure her son wasn't trailing too far, not that he could since he was only just learning to walk. After seeing that he was playing with a chicken, she turned her attention back to the notice.

"I do not recall them naming you the Erzbishop of Bradenhafen..though perhaps you gave yourself that title.."

She muttered before continuing to read what the man had to say. She shook her head in disbelief. With the death of the vater still being so recent she expected more from the Cult of Mortius.

"Is it not his duty to care for the dead anymore? Instead of writing about placing someone else in charge he should be holding a ceremony for the passing of the Vater."

She carefully lifted the infant when he tugged at her dress and brought him close to her.

"Your father speaks of faith but I believe he has lost all sense of it Theodore. He seeks only for power now..Come let us return home."

The young boy looked up at his mother with curious eyes and finally a smile came back to her lips.
