Your Grace, Ashlyn Moetiour, Grand Duchess of Veronia, and Your Grace, Anne-Marie de Ruiter, Duchess of Bergwaltz hereby invite you all to attend the masquerade ball, that will be hosted in 5 Saint Days.

This festivity shall be held in Ceril's Keep, the Grand Duchy of Veronia. The Duchesses join forces, celebrating the past, the current, and the future, hoping this may create an opportunity for us to meet new faces, reconnect with old acquaintances or spend time with the people you hold dear.
There shall be dancing, drinking, celebrating and laughter. But as our theme for this wonderful night is 'Tales of a Thousand Stories', we will also be confronted with the past.

It is expected of you to wear a mask, as we will not show our true faces before the clock strikes midnight. It is also expected to introduce yourself, not as yourself, but as something that might represent or inspire you. To keep peace during our masquerade, we will ask you to leave your weapons at home, or at the gates before you enter. If not, you shall be escorted out or have your weapons removed from you.
Before the end of this night, we shall be awarding one of you for being the best dancer, the best dressed, the best couple, and the busiest bee! After this, we are all allowed to take off our masks and introduce ourself like we are, and you will be able to find out who you've been mingling with during the night.

The Duchesses are looking forward to see your masks, gowns and fancy attire on the night of the event, and bid you all a good day.

Iiyama settled her hand on her stomach before a sigh left her, she walked over to her desk picking up the letter she read over it "I suppose we will go little one," she paused looking down "Aslong as Ashlyn doesn't kill us for not telling her anything by then." she kept the letter in hand as she moved to the military keep, like usual leaving the letter on Kassim's desk.
(I just felt like being the one that actually left a reply 🤓)
 
The new Duchess of Bergwaltz would have kept one letter to herself, reading it all over again with a proud smile "I am looking forward to this!". In the corner of her master bedroom, a mannequin would be wearing a long, white and golden gown, a single sunflower would hold some of the fabrics in place. "It's gonna be lovely!"
 
The large Khadan lumbered into his office raising a brow at the letter left open on his desk, a couple of moments later he sat in his chair took up the letter, and began to read. "Hmm, ball with masks? north have strange traditions"
 
Detlev looked over the letter curiously, quirking a brow at the theme and mask requirements. "Seems like a fun reason to stay up unreasonably late, should probably find a mask soon." He walked on, tucking the letter into his wrinkled coat. "And suitable clothing."
