Far away from war, from conflict, from the preying eyes of the Bone Lord or the horrors beyond there is rich, lush and untouched fertile land in the heart of Eden. Around Mapledale in the east of the empire of Hadriana lie the Hinterlands. This historically troublesome area has been completely passified and has fallen into disrepair. Therefore by the authority of Herzog Silas van Leuveren, protector of the Hinterlands, the provinces enact the Farming act. This act of land reform shall open up a number of five extremely large estates to be refit as ranches. These ranches shall then be given to families of note who desire to start a new life in a peaceful world. The families who are to inhabit these large and fertile patches of ground are free to grow their own crops, herd their own cattle and build themselves a ranch that'll stay with them and their bloodline from the day they first step foot on them. Do you fancy yourself a sturdy farmer or a cattle ranch manager? Then visit Bergwood with your family and apply for free land to settle your families' future on. Make the ground yours and experience freedom, peace and quiet on your own house on the Hinterland prairie.
Who can apply?
It is safe to say that nearly everyone can apply, with exception of any foulskins, no matter your past you will be permitted to apply for the land in the court of Silas van Leuveren himself. Present your case, preferably bring your family along with you. It is up to your family to construct a sturdy home or ranch on your land, or temporarily use an empty home in the village.
