Sunday 15th, Highsun, 1534
With the reinstatement of house Lichtenfelts and 'soon' to be crowning of Diederick Gobels von Lichtenfelts, the Hadrian Empire will usher into a renewal of it's traditions. The former traitors have led Hadriana into ruin, by abolishing much of the established workings to favour their own! This in combination with the fact that they committed regicide and caused many of the noblemen that still resided in Hadriana to leave. The houses Tzyrnowski and Reinhardt had taken it a step further and declared the usurpers unlawful and declared war on them during the 'Hadrian-Raevendrechter' war, eventually a peace deal was reached wherein the Herzogdom of Flüssland would be ceded to Raevendrecht. Now we hoped to rejoin the Empire with the whole of Flüssland, however negotiations with the republic have proven unfruitful and left both parties desiring for more.
After re-swearing our fealty to the Kaiser, he has in all his wisdom decided to grant us the 'Grand Duchy of Hertzland' as he had not forgotten the hospitality we had given him and the loyalty that remained to him and his kin. In return Norbüren becomes our permanent seat, giving it our full attention. For it is still considered the breadbasket of the Empire and it's second largest settlement, and cannot be mismanaged.
Furthermore the houses Tzyrnowski and Reinhardt are to be merged into one, creating one of the largest ducal families within Hadriana. House Reinhardt itself was taken under the wing of house Tzyrnowski after the death of it's former head 'Cedric Reinhardt'. Bound in blood our two houses will head towards a bright future, ruling the grand duchy of Hertzland to our fullest potential.
To celebrate this I wish to inform all citizens of the Empire that they are invited to Norbüren and attend our feast hosted in the keep. Further information about the actual date and time will follow.
