The life of a squire begins with an inexperienced young man, wishing to be more than he currently is. Be they high- or lowborn, they wish to test their mettle and prove their merit. A long and hard-fought journey led them from battles against fierce beasts to a battle with mind and soul. Their years of training would inevitably prepare them for a life in service of the Order, their Kaiser, and their Fatherland.
One such story is about Zladimir de Tiri, a young man when he first entered the service of the Order, but a man grown now that he has taken his final steps. From the onset, he showed that his loyalty to his comrades was unwavering, which matched with his excellent martial skills made him the perfect candidate. At first, Zladimir could be found spending his time in and around the stables, caring for the horses of the Order. When he was eventually allowed to take one for his own and ride out, a smile appeared that did not easily come off. From that point onwards, Zladimir has been a rock not only for the Order, but for all of the Empire. His efforts in the North along with his ever-burning passion to root out all evil have left the officers within the Order with no choice but to be happy another squire has proved himself worthy.
During this trial, Zladimir encountered a group of human-sized rats while searching for a Griffin to use in this same trial. A fight ensued on a small plateau in the mountains, where a wrongly placed foot could have meant the end of Zladimir's tale. Due to the unexpected nature of the fight and the difficulty of the terrain, Hochmeister von Herdorf approved the trial.

During the trial of mind, Zladimir was tested on all the knowledge and procedures needed to become a Ritter within the Order. After a long spell of studying the archives, the squire passed with flying colours, even going as far as to score a perfect score of a hundred percent on his final exam.
During this trial, Zladimir was paired with the Erzbishop of Veronia, Vasyl Aldarchson. The squire performed a wake after being branded, and sat in front of the statue of Salvor for the entire night, praying. After completing the wake, he was escorted out of the Temple by the Erzbishop and was granted his approval.
This Saint's Day, Zladimir de Tiri will be dubbed Ser Zladimir in the eyes of Alder, and the state, and become a full-fledged Ritter of the Order of the Golden Rose.
